i had the pleasure of seeing the open age side today vs para districts, looks like the association is finally getting it right with a strong side. The boys flogged Para districts by 9 wickets. Impressive performances from both Paralowie representatives Aaron Frith (82*) and Shaun Holland. very strong Batting line up

I played churches for a few years with Concordia until they moved to turf, always had good rivalry with Adel Luth, prob cos we shared the same home ground...
Also remember a few firey encounters with Enfield, their captain in particular.. Left arm bowler.

Ahhh the left arm bowler be one of two I reckon with O'B (Pete O'Brien) or Trev Clisby

Could be Andy Ryan? He is a pretty firey guy, tends to sook if things dont go right

Yes Chris does, he plays at Eastside.. Wether they have a team this year or not is another question.. Great batter, great bowler..

pretty sure chris isnt playing any more, problems with his bak, had shermans i think its called. was a decent talent wat a waste

Impressive.. my source tell me though you took 59 catches and 17 wickets i see your beloved enfield suffered 1st a grade defeat this round? also interesting to see the man doing the damage was a former enfield player not rated on his ability and under valued greatly! 40 odd runs and a 7 for.. enfield be rueing that loss id say

wow one more wicket than I knew about, played about 18 years and got 13 of those 17 wickets in one year, unfortunately alot that leave Enfield come back and haunt us, from what I have heard is nothing like the Club I used to play for anymore which with 80 years of history is very disappointing

Very disappointing for a club with such a history and names like turner and johnson. I think they can recover, good players there just poorly administrated at the moment, too much negativity at the club at the moment i beleive and too many guys who wont play higher hence the reason c grade and d grade winning flags in recent years.
