Out of interest, how many teams would have to be in Division 7 before they created a Div 8? 14, 15, 16?
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

I reckon in 2004 there were 11 teams. Ten is a good number though, wouldn't want to go beyond that.

Ideally you'd have the GTB Model, where Div 8/8R consists of C/D grade sides of clubs.

Pretty sure that was 2003 and Div 7 went from a 7 team comp in 02 to 11 teams with Paralowie coming 3rd and being promoted to Div 6 as the 2 finalist teams both C Grades sides exercised their right not to be promoted.

Don't take my word for it but my understanding is the housing is behind the oval, oval will remain!

there is no room behind,i had a look at the plans and is def in the oval area, so it has to be on the oval

i went and had a look, the oval and club are staying. the townhouses will be over looking them...

Things have gone pretty quiet on the Ovies front. My info tells me there's no way they'll get two sides.Bubbula will probably tell you otherwise if he ever comes back on here.

Ovies will have 2 sides next year,They have appointed an A grade and a B grade coach.Heard afew Gepps boys are going over plus the bs coach is bringing some i think they will lose 3 to 4 from retiring.Sammys not going any where is great mates with the new A grade coach and has played in the last 3 in a row flags together.I think div 7 is full so the club may have to field a side in c2 and c5 like Modburys Cs and Ds did this year, not sure to early to tell

Hey Wattle, I heard that Dale Woodhart and Shane Scraggs are heading over to Ovies. Any truth in the rumour. It would be a very good pickup for Ovies if my mail is correct. Who are the new A grade and B grade coaches out at Ovies for the 09 season

Surely the SAAFL would put Ovingham in div 7 and turf some C & D grade teams to lower grades.....

Cannot imagine there B Grade coach bringing any body with him. Especially not from the team he helped out last year. Even if he did the players would not be that flash. Plus they would not leave the Pines to go play against them.

North Pines, that brings back some memories. Last time I played out there after I booted a goal and had a grin from ear to ear the Pines team runner (and I am not sh****g you) ran past me and his exact comments to me were "I'd lose that smile mate otherwise you're going to wake up with a sore ass and no wallet tomorrow". What can you say to that......... Very classy organisation
