Have decided that I will do the preseason there and get fit and see how I enjoy it. Not signing anywhere until January or February at this stage. Not about money, more about dispelling peoples disbelief that I will get fit before signing. Have already dropped 8kg from last years playing weight....
Harsh but fair.....

8kg drop isn't a bad effort. Still plenty of time left before the season to drop some more too.

I weighed in at 92kg tonight at the Central Market. Heaviest I've been in my life. I'm trying to put on weight though and I'm eating like a pig.

Maybe we should start a thread detailing our individual training efforts over pre-season, would be interesting to see what other people do.

Yeah why not. I want to be around 88kgs next season. Thats only a.......few kilo's away.

Has EP lost any players to Two wells? Or did that deal fall thru??

Also is there any plans of EP renovating their facilities at Yorketown rd?

I heard today Seaton appointed Mark Moody to assist coach Tank Thomson in 2009.
I hope Seaton don't play the footy Woodville South played under Mark Moody.

Good coach Moody - will be hard to score against Seaton if Moods has his way with 15 defenders
15 defenders - 2 on ballers and a full forward - the Mark Moody game plan

He spent last season at Bridgewater. Earnt about 7k and has left to coach the B grade at Seaton whilst playing A grade under Tank.
Prob has 2 years of A grade footy in him. Seaton also signed Adam Parry and Luke Walsh who played at Bridgewater for the 1 season last year.

Also looking at signing Ben Stokes...

Drove past Eastern Park's Oval this week, haven't been out there for a while. Fair to say the atmosphere could be a little 'rough' out that way during the season. Will be interesting to see how they go and how we go against them. Obviouslty i am going to say we will be a force this year, who else will be around the mark??? Can Adelaide Uni get amongst the top tier again??

would say that uni won't have the same injury problems as last year but too early to tell if many players lost. last year's side was quite young and with a few country boys - will be interesting to see if they stay and play.
i'd suggest anything less than finals would be disappointing.

Payneham have picked up a lad ex Gepps Cross, the best part of that deal is that you get a 2 for 1 deal, Dad's a pain in the a#*se also.
