Does young Nath relize what an nasty old Scrooge his godmother turns into at Christmas.
Not a Scrooge...thank you very much. I spent 35 years doing what was expected and pretending to be having oh such a lovely time every year. Last year I decided I'd had enough and it was time to do things my way for once...or rather not do them
So I explained to my friends just how depressing I find Christmas (they'd had no idea) and we agreed that in future we would just do cards and no one would nag me into putting up decorations etc anymore or into coming round for Christmas lunch. I can assure you I have never attempted to stop others celebrating it and never would.
In fact it now suits everyone, with the current ecconomy everyone is happy to buy fewer presents.
