She needs a little bit of help. The other people in the family go for Central.
Nice people, but she can get a little loud.

As the teachers dispute is obviously a topic that warrents some fairly in depth discussion could I suggest that you guys create a thread specifically for it. It'll make it easier for you all to keep track of the discussion rather than having it interspersed with other things as this is a very general thread.

I'll happily try and transfer the posts made so far to a new thread if you like.

If I listed the problems I've had in the past 4 weeks, it'd take a whole page on this forum.... rang them numerous times to get staff who didn't know what they were doing, got to the stage that I sent through a 'complaint' through the website... it came back with....
On behalf of Telstra, please accept my sincere apology for any inconvenience or distress you
may have experienced as a result of this situation.

But no solution.

Now I have other different 'issues'

And I've tried the website.... and get this message in print
Please try again later.

Ring the call centre get the same message on recording.

What is going on

See even a brief summary took up half a page

Not happy Jan :(

Was turned off phone companies when we were with one that had the same name as a former Power ruckman/captain.The wife would pay the bill and I would get threatening phone calls late on friday nights .And I was told 4 times in a row that i hadn't paid my bill.I had enough after the 4th call(not in a week but over a few weeks) told them to re send the account (I couldn't find the receipt as the wife was out and filled it away) or at least email .They never did.
And before they could abuse me again we swapped our land line over to our internet provider no worries since.
With the exception of the national carrier phoning and telling me we owe them money .when pointed out we havent been with them for 15 years the indians go quiet.

I bet Snaggy has loads of nail polish lying around

Me, I just leave the price tags on. I could tell you exactly what I paid for Twisted Sister's "Come Out And Play" way back in 1986 (for example) 8)

work giving me an RDO list earlier in the year .Me taking Friday as my RDO as marked on the RDO list.
Being told lunch time today it was not your RDO on FRIDAY!!!
OK can I fill in an annual leave form NO .You now don't get an RDO in DECEMBER .AS you didnt have enough RDO hours but we will pay u for it,and any hours you accrue will be given to replace what u had off .
NOT one word was said Monday to Thursday last week .No phone call Friday nothing .Come lunch time today when the time sheets(on the computer) have been sent to Head Office to late bad luck .
The blame was put on me and I put it back on the bosses.Lucky they didnt ask me to do Over time they may not have like my answer  .
And I could not get an answer re my RDO hours .they said as you had taken LSL you dont get hours accrued .Fair enough but when i checked yes I only had 2.29 hours .Ok I understood why they queried the RDO.BUT how did I get .29 of an hour when I accrue 2 hrs a week .
And how did a Team leader and a BOSS let me have the day off!!!
you know what next month is its December now one less person off in december!!!
NO RDOS in December pitty I think I am getting a cold lots of sick leave untaken
