i think that Awesome Ryles is the only other winning chance outside of Kiola Bale.

the $11 in the paper - well if only that was true

I dont think it can miss a place

It all depends on IF he gets a nice clear run.

You only got to look at Thursday nights run. He tried to get to the rail BUT Very Cool took him so wide on the first turn he lost all hope and Very Cool goes onto win the race.

He will have a 2 week spell after tonights run before he starts being set for the Major staying races coming up in December/January. Will make his return via Gawler on the 11th November over 643m.

The 2 weeks rest will give me a chance to worm him out and run a course of Antibiotics through him just so i know he will be back at 100% health ready for the staying races coming up.

the bonus with the 600m being on the turn is he can afford to be slowish out and just get straight to the fence

Will not be having 2 weeks break after tonights run!

It seems i may have had him a little underdone for tonight and will put more work into him and nominate for next Monday Night. Happy with his run overall as he had to hurdle the 3 dog going out of the home straight and was giving the leaders 10 lengths going down the back and to only be beaten 1-2 lengths on the line i am happy with his very first 600m run.

Trialled Awesome Ryles at Gawler this morning to top him off ready for Monday Night.

On a pretty cut up track he ran a very respectable 31.01 with a blistering 14.6 run home time

PHILS PRIDE is obviously going to be the dog to beat Monday Night.

I noticed in that race last night 6 of the dogs my boy is racing against Monday Night were in that 1 race last night with 3 of them also racing in My Boys race Monday night just gone.

Finally get box1. But jesus, 1st heat of the Gawler Gold Cup against Scull Murphy and CO!

The Bunyip Gawler Gold Cup Heats

Heats of the 2007 The Bunyip Gawler Gold Cup Heats will be run next Tuesday 13th November. There will be five heats of the Group Three feature event.

Heading up the list of starters are local star Scull Murphy and top Victorian greyhound, Train A Journey. The Scull won his first Group race last week, when successful in the SA Sprint Championship. While Train A Journey is no stranger to local fans, having raced here during this year’s Adelaide Cup carnival. Other visitors are the locally owned, but Victorian trained, Coulta Bomber and WA greyhound, Kalden Cool, which has transferred to the strong local kennel of Murray Harvey.

Troy Murray will have a strong hand in the series, with six runners in the heats including SA Sprint runner-up Rutland Reason and Olly Orca.

With five Heats, the winners plus three fastest thirds will make the Final. The other two thirds will be declared as reserves.

The Bunyip Gawler Cup Final will be run on Sunday 18th November as a twilight fixture. The meeting will have full Sky Channel and TAB coverage.
