Has Halliday definitely departed Lads?? Big Loss for the Hawks if true, but if Butler was to join would certainly ease the pain.

Expect Culpitt to have some mates join him at TTG......Kersbrook's 2008 Premiership CHF should also be lining up for the Red and Blacks next season.

I didn't think Culpitt had too many mates!
Doubt they'd pay anywhere near what Kersbrook pay their top players so what is the attraction?

Ha Ha.....I think only what mates Culpitt has!
And as for Kersbrook, think you'll find all their top players are locals (Pearces, James), not much dough out that way (Don't even have an Oval!) and would be better off at the Gully in a better comp with more financial reward.

good player was hand at Goolwa last year, hes about 6.2 and will be good in defence.I do not know for sure if he is over the line with Port Districts at this stage as he has not contacted Goolwa re this and knowing Adam he will talk to Goolwa first.

If you speak with the TTG people, they say they only pay for winning games(yeah) so unless a special deal is struck with individuals, I'd suggest they'd be worse off than at Kersbrook. Can't believe all you're told though because Pitt isn't cheap.

Steve Pollock ex Norwood Reserves stalwart is the CHF from Kersbrook....only played the last few games there under the James boys in the hope of getting another crack at a league side.

Correct BP.... put 2 and 2 together to get Stephen Pollock

To put it in perspective playing reserves at Norwood is no great achievement.

About 5 10, good smart forward (pocket or flank), a little temperamental but has probably matured by now. Came back from a knee recon this year and did well in div 1 at ttg.
Harsh but fair.....

Just clarifying that this isn't Steve Pollock. Played in a Premiership with the Great Man this year, and heard his joining the Gullies. Will be a very handy pickup for them.

When does pre season start.....
How the hell are they going to improve from 08 to be competative.....

I think a few are back from overseas, like Nathan Woods and Simon Hereen. Havent heard too much on pre-season signings. Jack Horans name from Glenelg always gets mentioned and would be a massive pick up. Think they start pre-season later this month.
I think they may find it tough

WTF??? He wasn't in the Best 5, and reckon Brett James, Paul James and Brad Pearce had a bit more to do with the Victory than Pollock. Handy Footballer though, and definitely won't be part of Kersbrook's plans for next season as that was part of the contractual agreement in the clearance between Gumeracha and Kersbrook.

I was hoping Sharks can help us out on this one, your gun B grade full Forward- is that him named as coach of Adelaide Lutheran in the Div4 Comp, Ashley Place?
I know of 2 Bobs ( Moran ) having 2 Places but surely theres not enough room on this planet for another Ashley ( Place ).
Man i know this bloke thinks he should be playing A1 football but to think he could coach any grade of footy is an outright joke in its self.
I know he wouldn't be any great loss to Henley but as far as a usefull gain for Adelaide Lutheran, FAR FROM IT!
