Ramblers defeating Plympton in the 20/20 today. Chasing 141 we got up with a couple of balls to spare. Nick Work knocking up 53*. Pritchard very tough to get away early on the new pitch. 24 wides didn't help their cause (we sent down 13). Very competitive game.

So we know the draw (we will play Nth Haven), but who is the home team next game? Toss of a coin at association meeting?

i think that is the way it will work.

24 wides in 20 overs is bloody terrible cricket, that is 4 extra overs.

JC has achieved his lifetime dream of captaining the Coromandel Ramblers. In his 2nd year as skip and gradually the boys are learning his 'boring cricket' ideals.
I meant which Noarlunga cricketer will come to the ramblers next season...T-Bahr shed a tear when Moose left i hear, perhaps he is next.

This sunday at Brighton Oval the senior association side is playing against Adelaide Turf!
The side is yet to be fully finalised but some names that would be in contention are probably:
hopkins, sampson, curyer, ford, hutchinson, murphy brothers, mcrea from westminster! I think the last three spots are probably up for grabs...ford to be keeper and open the batting! hopkins to captain! Adelaide and Suburban to demolish the turf side and go back to back against the so called "superior" competition!

would be good to see both murphys in that side, both have been bowling really well. That would be a quick bowling line up with hopkins aswell.

Id suggest that the 'quick' bloke in the comp is McKinley from Keswick, but I don't know if he's even played this season. Keswick boys could fill us in.

and who should captain the side?? McRae from westminster would have to be considered along with Hopkins and even Sampson could captain the side! both hopkins and sampson has been around for a while and played many years on turf at district level which will help!

No, now go back to your own forum Shoe Boy and let Moose go. He is now at a club where cricket rules, not politics!!

Also after catching up with Moose after his first game with you lot I asked him about the standard and he did not hesitate in saying that you lot could posibly play in our B grade comp.

There are some outs for the Association squad from last years CUSA cup grand final side including Krutli, Rossi, Hartlett, McKay, Tucky and Ledgard. Of those mentioned before, i'd imagine McCormack and Drenthen would be in as they were in last years side. Hopkins will get skip - Skinny will make sure of that!

Drenthen has not played since round 1 has he? he prob would not get picked with the form of Hopkins, murphy brothers and mcrae as the 4th quick..plus sampson in the side as the all rounder.. for me drenthen would not make!
Tucky is no loss, i for one was against him playing anyways since he was chasing trophies in the lower grades. Mccormack has only just came back from his broken arm this game and batted at 7, will be interesting to see him bowl, but i assume he wont be ready to play 2 days of cricket in a row yet! Hopkins will get captain and deserves it i say, after Mcrae has turned it down for unknown reasons!

Obviously you have no sense of humour champ. I noticed you arguing with plenty of others on your own forum when I had a look last week and I'm not here for that (except with Fordy). I can't believe the other boys on here haven't had a swipe at you for your ignorant call on the standard of our comp. We have atleast 12 teams in each of 6 sections and you want to tell me your comp (which is slowly disappearing - 5 or 6 A Grade sides is it?) is a better standard. Hurry up and merge with Great Southern cause soon it's gonna be pretty hard to convince us that you've got a better comp if it doesn't even exist.
