That would give AU a lead of about 150 and you never know

CLARKY/WATTO/BRADDY/WHITEY/BINGY/MITCHY/STEWIE
Front foot is the go
Look at how the first 4 batters got out
Dont get out to Another Grubb.ber

Now a serious question
If AU was equal with India at stumps with wickets in hand [but prob. wont happen]
With 1 day to go should Ponting declare ?
AU would be the only team that could realisticly win
IN would not declare and would not have enough time to set a safe target
AU could fluke bowling out IN very cheaply for 100-150 and make the runs

The above scenario of being equal at stumps almost eventuated

Question for the cricketing gurus
Had AU been 7/613 at stumps and equa
would or should Ponting declare overnight ?

Being 1-0 down I would assume he would seriously consider the option

disMissALs

5 bowled
2 lbw
1 c&b
1 stumped
1 caught

Shewag had
4 bowled
1 lbw

Front foot needed more often

I notice the Indians weren't as chirpy yesterday....

Good to see them continue being vocal when they're up front but lose their chirpyness and puffed out chests when they're on the back foot.

Are we a chance of winning? Yes or no.

If we get them out cheeply and quickly, then I think so.

Rahul Dravid is only 5 catches away from passing Mark Waughs world record of 181 catches in test matches, and the 4th test he would have played the same amount of tests as Junior.

That record I wasn't aware of, records are coming from all directions recently which so long as they are not like the double hundreds against Australia in an innings, it's good.

-That record was that it was the first time that two players scored 200s in an innings against Australia
-The 577 scored by Australia was the highest total in India; the 574 in the tied match in 1986 would have been the highest
-Tendulkar passed Brian Lara and 12,000 career runs in the previous Test
-Sehwag became the first player to score two three hundreds and take five wickets in an innings (career wise)
-Laxmans 200 at no.5 is the highest score by an Indian at that position

Then you had Vettori becoming the first player to score a 50 in each innings and 4 wickets in each innings of a match

3/53
Rahul DREARYVID B LEE 11

My advice to this former great batsman
It is no disgrace getting too old and playing below your best
Its been sad to see him struggle in the last 2 Test series v AU
Time to retire
Great career for a good batsman

Gambhir just got fired LBW. Wasn't even a full blooded appeal and there is no way it should have been given. Terrible decision. Aleem Dar had no hesitation though. Finger went straight up. Quite amazing.

4/93
The enforcer Gambihir apparently out LBW MJ

As Freddy used to sing "UNDER PRESSURE"

As usual a bit of give [5th day pitch] and the frontrunning flat track bullies are compounding
AND we are bowling more throat balls this innings

Pity we only picked 3 bowlers ....

Its hard to judge the attack on that deck. For the first 4 days its pretty much been as flat a pancake.
Its only now starting to get a bit funny.

And talking about flat track bullies - Laxman is the king of flat tracks!

Although we really should look at that "spin" attack. Katich is probably our best spinner at the moment. White just dosent seem to be up to it. We have seen that all series.

especially from Dar, he usually takes 27 weeks to give an LBW, particularly from the Aussie bowlers
