I ran into an old mate of mine yesterday who is involved up at maccelsfield and he said the a grade had 12-13 players out that would normally be first picked in the side. Looked to of been a very disappointing result for them but it makes it very hard when you have that many blokes out. Were you aware of that wishiwas? From reading other posts from you its clear you dont seem to like the club alot, but unless you know the real reasons why the club is struggling you should not post crap comments like that. It just doesnt help anyone.

Must have been a good effort by Blackwood to come back from last weeks game.
Thought Onkas would have pushed Uraidla a bit more than they did given their great win against Lofty a couple of weeks back.
Must have been a good contest between Mt Barker and Bridgewater.
Maccy pushed Echunga pretty close first time around but in a sign of Maccy's current plight it was far more one sided this time. Does anyone out there know much about the past footy history of Echunga recruit Caine(?) Lynn? Seems to be some sort of player.
Nairne actually got within 6 goals of Torrens Valley. Was anyone at this particular game?
In regards to Percy from Nairne Bremer, he must be considered some sort of player to make the Southern Districts squad when I don't think he even played in the interleague match but from what I gather he has only just come out to Nairne.

Well done to Rusty on being named skipper, a real advocate for rep footy, as are all the guys chosen. Will be interesting, given SD going for four straight carnival wins, you can be sure the other five zones will be pretty keen to unseat the champions. Hills boys may well appreciate the dry terrain at Berri, given it looks like being a little damp back home this Saturday. While a number of guys are reaching HFL milestone games, but it's interesting to note, the HFL doesn't include rep appearances in their games records. If a player is willing to put himself up for selection for the league's cause, why isn't it recorded in his overall games tally. It could make the difference between reaching 250 ... may be 300. AFL throw in just about every competition game a player has fronted for, so why not honor those in local circles who choose to make the effort! If looking for a fix this Saturday, why not wander over to River Murray and Southern leagues ... they are both playing normal comp and have a fair selection in SD team. Why does the whole of the Hills comp go in limbo for eight players? Enjoy the gardening!
