2006 played in the prelim final - missed out by a smidge 2007 when HWE beat us in a close one at Wakefield postage stamp.
2010 we wont be having a bye first round unless the fixture changes to give the finalist first week off.![]()
Well done Norm - got the 200th up .... I tried ....

Ramco Leaves Mid Murray
By ROB McLEAN
RAMCO Football Club has been granted permission to join the Riverland Football League’s Independent competition.
A meeting between the Mid Murray Football Association and SANFL officials was held on Tuesday night.
The SANFL has agreed to Ramco’s move following an extensive investigation into the club’s proposal.
The Roosters’ inclusion in the competition will boost the Independents to eight teams.
Ramco’s netball teams will also play in the Independent competition.
Meantime, the MMFA will continue in 2009, despite concerns it may fold.
A league official yesterday told the Riverland Weekly that the competition will be going ahead with just four teams.
An approach by Robertstown to transfer to the Adelaide Plains Football League has been denied, meaning the Roos will stay in the Mid Murray.
The league official, who did not wish to be named, said the four clubs are happy to work towards maintaining the competition and possibly expanding it by approaching other clubs currently in other associations.
“Morgan has put in a lot of work and told us they will have three teams this season with a possibility of four,” the spokesman said.
“We’re quite happy with that at this srage.
“The clubs are dedicated to keeping the league running but we’ve got a lot of work to do to attract clubs into the league in the future.”
Meantime, Berri Football Club has officially announced the appointment of three-time Cobdogla premiership coach Rod Hankin as club development officer for the 2009 season. Hankin this season stepped aside from his role at Cobdogla after four years as coach.
