Something happened in town corner of King William and North Tce buses had to be diverted a round it for a hour or two.

A dodgy looking unit left a thermos sitting on a fire hose inside the NAB branch on King William Rd, so the police evacuated everyone.

We've become a little bit 'over the top' with all this terrorism stuff haven't we?

On the U2 thing - I used to like them because as Bono said years ago, they used to write songs as people who've grown up from the downtrodden.

How can they now write songs from the downtrodden when they're living the high-er life? So I used to like their music, back in the 80's and maybe early 90's but nothing since has done much for me.

but simple calculation - carton of beer say $40 into $1,000 = 25 cartons x 24 (No. of Stubbies) = 600 x $0.10 = $60.

I have it's called don't answer the door (Works well with door to door salesman and religious callers as well )

Call me mean if you like, I've answered the door all the other years but just 'couldn't be bothered' this year.
