3 to 1?
even money?
or shorter than even money?

KO, I'm a betting man but even if you gave me 150/1 odds of Robertstown joining I'm not sure if I'd take them up.

I would .....

My feeling is you'd lose your money Jumbo. Suggestion: Perhaps only put $1 on it, then you're not losing much

I heard the SANFL were gonna hand down their decision last night, but it looked like Ramco to be approved to leave but RT to stay. Hence, don't spend too much money Jumbo.

Been waiting for a good local journo like DW to pipe up with the result all day.

I would have thought if Ramco left then the league was stuffed anyway - bit hard with only 3 teams. Hence Ramco leave, RT move the APFL, other 2 take a river cruise.

Good call Jumbo, if Ramco are gone so is the league. The SANFL may try and do something silly like restructure Murray River footy. How far is Robertstown from the Mallee League or RMFL?

There was 5 now there is 4. RT, Sedan/Cambrai, Blanchetown/Swan Reach & Morgan.

I have exhausted my limited knowledge on this issue now, so don't ask any questions cause I don't have the answers as to why. Especially letting Ramco go and keeping RT.

Robertstown closest League is North East FL, to Waikerie its about 80kms, to Karoonda (closest Mallee) it would be a good 2 hours drive or longer on unsealed roads partway - to Murrayville they may as well head off Friday afternoon to make the 4 hour drive - Mallee would not be an option I think.

MC is correct - my mistake - there would be 4 left. well 3 and half anyway - Morgan is struggling but have a hard working president I believe.

Dogwatcher do you have any facts?

The "journos" you refer to have a hands on involvement in the competition and have so for a number of years. The respect they have earned from their knowledge of football in the area can be measured by how often the info they put onto this site is correct.
