I reckon this is an interesting topic.

Who are the 6 imports at Ramblers Goldberg? I can think of Sykes, Girardi, Viney, Bretag, then i guess Marchetti and Zadow.

14 for the Panthers

Girardi
Sykes
Viney
Bretag (did play U/12's i think someone said)
Koch

Fair enough about Waite I suppose, but Puatti and B Harrowfield both came from other country clubs. If that was the case you could chuck a heap players into that category.

A recruit is someone you have payed to leave their club & come to yours. If they come for free thats a different storey

So any further on the recruiting things? Has Smelty picked off some of the Imps guys? I heard Seyers was staying where he was at Peake and that he was trying to convince Harrowfield to come to Peake as well!
Also heard that the Ramblers will loose a few players too. Heard that none of the players were given any free drinks on the night of the GF win, even after winning the 1st premiership in 20 years! That's a poor effort on behalf of the club and may be the reason why Button and Morris go play for Sturt and Matthews and a couple of others walk out.
Not much happening at Jervois, from what I hear from a few of the boys is that the coach hasn't even spoken to the players about next season! Is he that confident that they will stay around again???

The Muffy rumour that is floating around now is that Marion in SFL could be on the cards following the Coach 08 Ironbank - Daniel Exelby. Be great to see him have a crack with the Rams.

That would be typical of Ramblers but they certainly are leading the way on the field & of the field.Lot of pressure on Dougall their new coach bit like mahoney on a hiding to nothing. I think Imps the big improver.

One of the imps players mothers filmed every game this and at the end of the year made a highlights package for the presentation night. If you want to see the video you can head over to the imps web site and see it.

I don't have any inside info whatsoever, but i would have thought that Muffy would be playing somewhere around the Murray Bridge area, maybe Tailem or Karoonda. He didn't make it to quite a few Ironbank games last year as far as i know, so i'd be surprised if he played in the Southern League, except for maybe he was given an offer he couldn't refuse.

Harrowfield is no chance of leaving Imps..
the chances of him leaving would be less then 0.00001% i believe..especially if he has another harrowfield alongside him. Ludicrous rumours! I believe he is hoping of securing an assistant coaching job at the imps this year but believes his 4 yellow cards will not help him in getting the job!

Jervois have thrown big dollars at a couple of SAAFL Div 1 players who are not worth the $500 per game on offer.
Now that is just plain dumb, don't you think?
