Observations

- SA Opeining Bowlers 0/241 (50 overs) Sayers 0/130, Haberfield 0/111 (both 25 overs)
- Bailey was the seventh bowler used in both innings (Match figures 3/131, 21 overs)
- Why did Smith bat at number 7 in the second innings?
- Hauritz (not long ago being thought of for Australian duties) now 2/113 (39 overs) in second XI, O'Keefe took 4 SA wickets

This is obviously an important competition, cricinfo Australia still has 2007/08 results, and no mention of last weeks game.

Just looking at last year, to help us remember the good times  , SA 2nd XI finished on the bottom with ZERO points

Good to see that the lads are in for a win. will probably need to chase about 100 for outright.

some positives toc ome from this last week of SA Cricket.

Redbacks posted a solid first innings score(not great score but good for recent years) and manged to hold on and make a decent 2nd innings score

2nd 11 had cozzy and borgas hundreds in it and they are much needed runs for both of them. puts borggy up for selection and cozzy something to build on

SA need 141 to win outright. Our bowling in ACT's second innings looks to be dissappointing to say the least.

George, P 21.0 5 57 1
Haberfield, JK 24.0 4 90 4
Richardson, KW 23.0 3 89 1
Cosgrove, MJ 6.0 1 30 0
Brown, J 9.0 0 51 1
Bailey, CB 15.1 1 80 2
Cooper, TLW 1.0 0 4 0

George looks to be the only economical bowler there. Bailey seems to be going for plenty of runs.

Always harder to bowl a team out the second time mate....

yeah George could be anything but he is to nice to be a fast bowler hahaha

good to see "the snake" Haberfield get amongst the wickets

understand it is usually harder the second time but they have generally been belted around not just not taking wickets.
