Where are the accolades...?

SHAME SOCCER AUSTRALIA

Your right Dog-ger, what sh!ts me is all the other clubs are sitting back rubbing their hands together for their slice of the $2million for doing jack sh!t.
The League don't give a rats because its Adelaide, if it was Melb or Sydney they would be bending over backwards for them.
I don't understand why Adelaide have to evenly distribute the winnings to the rest of the comp when they have been given no favours what so ever from the League.
Soccer Aust you are a F---N joke!

Have I got this right. Adelaide have to share thier winnings with the rest of the league.

If so, that just doesn't seem right to me. Who is paying all the travelling expenses for Adelaide ? And of course the cost of home games, policing, stewarding etc etc.

Is this being shared by the rest of the league ?

I doubt it very much. Just let Nick Bianco pay for it all.

You doubt they have to share thier winnings or you doubt they get help with the costs ?

They share their winnings I think. But they will have to pay for everything. Nobody will help with the costs.

Seems pretty outrageous that Adelaide have to pay for all associated costs, yet have to share the prizemoney. Surely the other clubs can't have it both ways? Either they should have to pay their share of the costs, or keep their greedy, grubby, non-deserving fingers off of Adelaide's hard-won spoils.

I'm not sure, but I understand it was an agreement made a while back, so I guess, it was another A League side in the ACL they would be in the same boat.

What about the revenue from the group / knock out games. does AU get to keep that ??

If you mean tickets/merchandise/food etc then the revenue goes back to subsidise the travel out of pocket expense for United. They'd lose money on this for sure, but I dare say the sponsorship dollars will kick in now that United are a Asian brand.

Actually Sakai, which is United shirt sponsor is a Japanese brand so they'd be rapped !!

Yeah Im thinking about my strategy, would one of the suburbian venuetix outlets be quieter than the city? would buying online be just as effective?

would appreciate anyones input

Bloody inlaws bought the reserved tickets with their membership therefore couldnt get one thru them

Yeah I wouldn't mind getting some input in this also ... The Venuetix outlet at the Distinctive Homes Dome is nearly always dead and easy to get tickets from, but then I've heard a lot of people with that same idea so I wouldn't be surprised if it was packed out tomorrow.

Anyone know the limit on the amount of tickets that can be purchased if your'e lucky enough to get through?
