either way, his side went out in straight sets and he missed out due to stitches. i guess one player doesn't make a side, but they definitely missed his match winning ability. I imagine things might have been different for CLG in 2009 had he played...

maybe, but both hope valley and WOS were good teams and deserved to make the final, your only as good as the team you put on the field, harvey was a loss no doubting that, but definately not to blame, he wasnt even out when the incident occured, was at a mates watching the footy, they were play fighting at the time

IMO as a coach he was out after midnight and drinking, doesnt matter if he had 1 or 10 how much respect does he have for his team mates or his coach??? Nothing wrong with having a beer or two friday night before a game but come finals drinking and going to bed in early hours of the morning to me shows no respect for your team mates.

Im sure it did cost CLG in a big way not having him play, but i saw HV play the 1st semi and i dont think it would have mattered if he played or not, HV played well and i believe would have won regardless they really wanted the win and it showed on the day. Dont know about the WOS game i didnt see it but i dont think Harvey missing as a player cost CLG the GF, he isnt the super star player he believes he is and i believe the reason it cost CLG is because they lost confidence because he wasnt playing, they could have won without him if they had of got their head around winning without him, a team doesnt win all year because of 1 player and CLG had better players then harvey. HV and WOS played better on the day so there for deserved to both be in the GF.

Not trying to diss Harvey i have nothing agaist the bloke just putting my point across as a coach and would say the same about any player.

I agree with Trinity it shows disrespect, he is a good player and personally I am surprised not to see CLG not go up this year!
No disrespect tp HV and West OS. Be interesting to see how CLG go next year and to see what cattle they got next year.
I think Paralowie will be very good, they were great this year.
