Wretched run with injuries and what-not but interesting if he will stick it out at the Saints?

Plenty of young talent at the saints already, with more raw talent than Butler. Buts hasn't played since South Uner 17s made the GF, 3 years ago i reckon, no senior footy experience. McArdle would be handy to have playing for them week in week out, would be one of the most experienced A grade players for the side, and he is only about 23!

If those 3 were to play next year (i dont know Butler) but if Mccardle and especially Aggi go to Goolwa they will rise sharply. If Willunga get wind of Aggi returning to footy they will be ringing his phone of the hook!!!! Super Player!!!

You'll note the frequency of his posts has decreased substantially as he's spending less time in front of the computer and more time in the gym and on the roads. Look out Todd Steele! He's coming for ya!

Great to hear the big fella is already in training must be building up quite an appetite though was spotted in port elliott bakery with more than 1 pie but if he does lose alittle weight he may fly higher next time look out Pongy here comes the bridges express   Todd Steele you wont stand a chance :D

I didn't know Thompson was previously from the D's. Played a couple with us out at Callington last year, versatile player - did a few jobs down back but is handy on the lead from the forward flank, actually picked up quite a few votes in the B&F. For an unorthodox-looking guy Aggi actually has a good turn of foot & can run all day. In the same mould as McCardle just gets his own footy a bit more and is hot on the one-percenters.

Went to Beijing for hand-ball i believe, and once represented Country SA in Petanque.
Would be interested to see who picks him up and what league he goes to, a good pick-up for any club. Fitness is sky-high, actually saw him a few weeks back and he mentioned he's been getting the km's in the legs in preparation.

Forgive me if it's been said already. Has Shane Mitchell got a coaching job in the GSFL for season 2009. He coached Maccasfield (that spelling doesn't look right) last season. One of the other threads mentioned Encounter Bay.......
Has anyone seen Sammy G, the KING of Teringie.

Played a handful of League games in the SANFL, with Glenelg i think. Played down the South East with Penola and one of MG sides the last few years.

What club is looking into Linton's sevices Cyclops? He is a very in depth and tactic's type of coach, when I was playing under him at Strath he almost knew more about the individuals we were playing against than our own players. One week he even gave us a little wright up on our likely opponents for the day! He is not your yelling and abusing type of coach and has a great interest and knowledge for the game.

Limb "Aggie" is Brad Thompson BJ should be able to fill us in a bit more about his footy, he has not played a great deal in past years due to travel and a golf commitments. If anyone has seen him running he would look like a white version of the Kenyan's, can maybe run all day but is painfully skinny! Get him to run to the gym someone please!

Also could LF's avtar have some meaning to it?? Could the Goolwa/Pt Elliot football club be back in black and white and playing as the Magpies once again?

This weeks ANTI SOCIAL SUGGESTIONS
Goolwa Saints.....To blow up the Goolwa Barrages...flood the lakes and end all the conjecture

Victor Harbor....Burn the Causeway to Granite Island. Don't let the penguins burn!!!

Encounter Bay...Grab a couple of 303's and go out and pop off a couple of whales...that will stir a few up

McLaren...Go to a couple of wineries, undo the valves on a few wine tanks..No that is a waste
Go to each winery and remove their Name signs and then mix up..eg Take Wirra wirra and put that at Fox Hill etc

Yankallilla...Go to the local golf clubs..Wirrina and Lady bay..remove all flags from each green and throw away
Break into the golf cart shed and do wheelies on the greens

Myponga...Go to local dairies and add Chocolate, strawberry and coffe to all milk

Mt Compass... Go to local trout farm with a couple of gill nets. Catch all Fish.

Willunga... Go to the top of Willunga Hill and put detour signs to Meadows for all cars heading to Victor.

Langhornes Creek ...Dam the Bremer River. If necessary contact Wenham's earth movers at Yank.

Strathalbyn...Go to all Antique stores in Strath and remove all the old crap and throw in the river by the pool.
Time for you mob to move out of the 1800's.

Umpires...Go to ETSA Park and umpire netball.

Bit of a change from last week Magoo, extreme destruction on the cards for week two of the GSFL Movements Pre-season! I might help compass, could do with some nice trout

TW,
In the Magpies colours? Might be able to delve into the history and passion that is shown when the magpies colours are donned, recent perfromances suggest they are playing like saints on field, but very un-saintly off the field. Perhaps this needs to be reversed?
I think you'll find Thompson has been on the roids, biceps were in full flight a few weeks back. Has good height for quick forward flanker, but your right could do with some more bulk to him, hopefully he works on it over summer as he could be a handy acquisition for any team looking for dangerous player with versatility. Apparently has a thumb injury that has halted his golfing ambitions and is back in the footy fray.
