i was with you on this Green One, until i read the 'skinny' bit and realised that i have mistaken BH's identity. 'skinny' and BH don't go together ,'trimmed down, a bit more mobile' etc , i would take but skinny is not a word i would use. that said good on him for giving it a decent crack at it

Yeah thanks Moz....never planned on being skinny, I wouldnt get a touch...

How about you amateur league guys take your crap on another forum. If you've got nothing to say about this league then don't say it. What a waste of 2 pages
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

boozehound wrote:Combination of diet, weights and running. Should be in ok shape and not too small. Will be deep in the forward line with runs on the ball here and there...thats the plan anyway.

boozehound has had this combination before... it includes a see food and eat it diet, big macs and 1/4 pounders for weights and lounge to fridge relays for running.

i can't see you leaving the goalsquare bh but if your body keeps sound i could see you kicking a lot of goals in this league next year if you do end up here.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

wouldnt think there would be a huge difference between div 3 and the a grade out here... in fact i think the top sides in this league re: hummocks, mallala, and maybe balak would be more then competitive in Div3. How many goals did you kick last year boozehound?

Ha ha, everyone thinks the league they play in is better than all the others. If boozehound plays APFL and kicks twice as many goals as he did this year he'll still say the APFL is top notch and he is a gun. Mind you if he doesn't kick anything he'll say the league is shit and blame it on delivery ha ha. It's all about making yourself look better.

For what it's worth I think that there may be fewer of those dour, give away nothing type of defenders in the APFL than in town. A lot of preparation and focus goes into stopping the other team and games tend to be a bit more structured. Teams in the city train together 2 sometimes three nights a week and this just doesn't happen in the country where players have to travel from the city.

I think in the country the focus is more on the individual brilliance of players and there are more one on one contests around the ground. Some players may perform better in this kind of situation. I think we can all come up with examples of players who have struggled in the city but done well in country footy and vice versa.

Very good point there The Big Shrek its very had to compare leagues.
I have always and still belive APFL is around the Div 3 ameteur level but have had some people suggest its Div 2 and some say Div 5 guess it just depends on the day you watch.
I`ll put booze down for 30 goals next year shall i.
Considering he is going to swap on the ball!!!

He's not biased in any way - will use anyone as the step ladder or simply just jump the pack .....

Mainly B's last year - this coming season we are expecting him back up in the A's where he belongs ..
