My early tip would be Hills to win it back, had the best list last year but didnt take the concept seriously and they will make up for it this year.

Early bowling lineup if the Tarque rumour comes true would be worrying for other comps:

Galvin, DuBios and Williamson in any order would be tough to deal with plus Hunter with the leggies.

Yeah Hills have the strongest Line up every year  ......just seems Torrens Valley Keep winning the Shield

And if Kersbrook pick up one of their footballers this season.....In the words of Tarque 'He makes me look slow!'

Yes Hills have the best line ups but have not played as a Team and perhaps they expect to win. Where as Torrens Valley and have played as Team and the last two, im not denying that. Its two all out of the last 4 though isnt it Cougs?? Perhaps they might struggle this year without you??

3 out of the last 5.....14 of the last 40??.....Torrens Valley just keep winning it......Too many TV rejects in other sides Farrin, Krollig, Galvin, Frohling last year. :D

No side struggles without me at anything.....I just make up the numbers.

the hills side has way more talent then the torrens valley side. the likes of reid, dawe, kemp, hunter, dubious, galvin all stars and way better then anything torrens valley can serve up but i think the hills lads play hills cricket and try to smash everything becasue they dont take sunday cricket seriously!! show me what squads the torrens valley team would put up thsi yr and compare the 2 sides, hills by a mile!!

Looks like young Justice bowled well only conceeding 22 off 15 overs?

i honestly dont know who will be playing - sinkas and bennett are both 21 + now so think they will be out of contention.... aprt from those two there arent a lot of decent younger players so the hills will realy be struggling after looking like winning it a couple of years ago. Dutchy you say Torrens Valley played like more of a team than the Hills - how many games did you watch of last years inter asoc comp??

Here we go again  Yes Torrens Valley has no talent in it whatsoever. King, Hackett, Wimberley, Frohling, Wehrman, MacDonald, Rathjen, Johns, Wescombe are all bums that can't play. They've won 3 out of the last 5 association comps, but continously get lucky similar to the Australian Cricket Team has at the past 3 World Cups. Just Lucky, that's all they are.

And as for taking the comp seriously, well Torrens Valley scrounge a team together, train once, then play! They don't train on Sundays or before Xmas as a certain rival has done previously. And if you reckon Hills give the bottle a good going during these carnivals, well Big Nick Johns would put down more than the whole Hills team would put together!

2007 Hills - Torrens Valley
2006 Murray Towns - Torrens Valley
2005 Southern - Hills
2004 Torrens Valley - Hills
2003 A&EH - Torrens Valley
2002 KI - Hills
2001 Great Southern - ??

So now it shows that Hills and TV have shared the Meyer Shield 3-3 over the past six Cougs so i dont know what your carrying on about recent history is all that matters. Hell southern have probably 20 of the past 40 but that means little now doesnt it... Yes we have opinions and would rather have the Hills side over the TV and you would obviously have it the other way round.. What im getting at is if you were to pick the best side you could of TV and Hills comps majority would be hills players.

BCC i also have no idea who would be eligable for the under 21 side so i looked at saturdays results in the courier and these are the players i found that might be eligable but not 100% sure.

happy vally
B Slattery
J Cox

aldgate
-------

Onkas
s rowe

Meadows
A minnie
B dawe

Mt lofty
S maslin
G mcfarlane

Ironbank
B thomas
R van Paridon
B Mcgowen

Bridgewater
------

Uri
L Thomas
S parker
D liebelt
K sutton

They are the ppl who i can see are eligable for under 21's but i could definetly be wrong and there would also b ppl from sides like mylor and other b grade sides.
