Can someone please tell me that Galekovic is going to be right for Wednesday night?? I most certainly hope so! He has been amazing. If he doesn't play and Birghitti starts, does that mean we're not allowed a reserve goalkeeper on the bench (assuming Galekovic isn't fit to be on the bench)? I read something in the 'Tiser today about us only having two goal keepers registered with the ACL. I guess one of the outfield players would have to take the gloves in that situation.

From Thiele's link:

We need to be strong in the head to put this stuff aside and all the difficulties.

We need to forget about all the rubbish.

We're only a few days away from the biggest club game in Australian football history.

Certainly the boys need to focus.

I'm sure we can do it.

We have risen before through adversity.

We're like zombies right now but Sasa Ognenovski was walking around singing "always look on the bright side of life."

Haha, not the best English I've ever seen, but who am I to talk!!!

Just as a heads up for anyone who wants to watch the game and doesn't have fox. While the Hilton Hotel (Sth Road) isn't a sports bar they are having the game on tonight with the sound turned up, something they don't usually do so if you're in the area or other pubs are packed there is another option.
Looking forward to tonights game, have no idea what to expect, but I thought we'd lose the last leg! Adelaide U need to win if only to embarass the FFA, reading the Tiser yesterday and the holdups in India and then Usbekistan is a disgrace, surely more could've been done to make it easier for the players, AU must be seething. Win and then make a public statement pointing out the lack of support on behalf of the FFA.
Saw some footage of Tashkent on Sports Tonight last night, looks like a beautiful city. Here's some pics.

It is a massive game and i cant wait..... wish it was 11pm right now....

Quick question about Agostino. Should he be retained as AU's Marquee player next season??? IMO he has offered little and has taken a spot of a player that could have seen us gain higher success in the A league.

When his contract is up he needs to be removed as our marquee player IMHO FS ... If he's prepared to accept the drop in $ then I wouldn't be upset about retaining him as a normal, Salary Cap included player, if he wouldn't accept that then see ya'.
