I know this is a transition period.
I accept that.

The selectors weren't serious in picking him, were they?

Unfortunately he will get picked again. What other option do we have?

How are the Indian bowlers getting wickets seemingly easy, but when we are bowling the pitch looks so flat you'd think they are rolling it after every ball.

I'd expect more fight from the Aussies.

Pick a 4th bowler, what's the point of having a batting all-rounder at 8 who doesn't make runs, when we have another one at 6 who's making a few?

Katich can handle some spin duties.

Doesn't matter who is the spinner because the pace bowlers are not building enough pressure where the spinner can take advantage. for example warne mcgrath partnership. I think lee needs to be dropped because he does not look like getting a wicket play bolly or bring another bowler as the treplacement. Lee reminds me of tait at the wacca against india last year.

Forget about team selections
Forget about who is gaining reverse swing
Throw the formguide in the bin
The big reason AU are getting killed is the inability of our bowlers to bowl the stock wicket taking ball the Indians are superior at
The ball thats short of a length that grubbers and gets the AU batters out Bowled and LBW.

The pitch is the prob
Also winning the toss is paramount in INDIA

The question is should Lee have been on the tour in the first place?
Evidence suggests mentally he shouldn't be.
One wonders if his thoughts about commercial aspects of his career and his links to India ensured his decision to go.
