Well boys, we'll never really be able to prove it one way or another.

What we can prove is that the SFL can't even beat an U23 team from the SAAFL(I can hear the excuses typing themselves already).

SFL=Hack's league and excuseville!

Good luck Edwardstown, watch half your players say bye bye and will still probably make top 4 with a half B grade side.

agree, the SFL has nothing on the SAAFL, SAAFL under 23s beating SFL open team by 10 goals show this, mate of mine who was watching the game said it was like men vs boys, the SAAFL being the MEN!

Ha ha. Now, now scottroo they have excuses! I don't know how long these excuses stretch back, how long has it been since they have won? Have they ever won?

Maybe if their footballers stopped making excuses the SFL would be a better comp.

I wonder whether the boys of the SFL will bring their tricycles to the Edwardstown velodrome. They can ride them around at half time.

TBS at least we SFLers have better things to do on a Friday night than sit on the computer slagging off other leagues! Perhaps you and Scottroo should get out more - or would finally meeting violate the conditions of your internet chat room relationship?

I don't care mate, it was my alcohol free weekend and I had just got back from the beach. Maybe you SFLers should consider taking such measures yourself to stop your league being second rate.

Do you play Div 1 TBS or just ride the coat-tails of people who do?

No, just played divs 2 & 3. Still better than all but one, maybe two of the SFL teams. Irrelevant as to which league is better anyway.

Didn't the SFL beat the SAAFL side the first year they played? 2003 i think.

Get of your high horse Shrek, the SAAFL should be a lot better than the SFL, honestly if 1 of Brighton, Cove or M/Vale were chucked in Div 1 next year, they would not be relegated. They are better than the bottom 2 sides in Div 1 each year.

Maybe M/V at their peak would not have been relegated. They might have finished 8th. I'm not sure if the SAAFL has ever lost to the SFL. I know the SAAFL U23 hasn't lost since 2004. Can't beat an U23 side ha ha ha.

22 year old men are just about at their peak, of course the SFL under 23 side wouldn't beat them because of a numbers. I think association matches show as much about the equality of the leagues as trial matches do, so f*ck all really.

Sorry mate, SFL was an open side. 22 year old men are nowhere near their peak and half the SAAFL open side would have been at league clubs when they were 22.

SFL do not pick open age squad ..... mostly under 23. That is the reason why they never have any powerhouse forwards like Milo, Ryan, Draper etc playing these games

I find it hard to reconcile the posts in this topic against the amount of criticism against their own league administrators in others.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.
