Jars continues the rich tradition of ex-Norwood players coaching the mighty Demons.

Good luck to him then, Perth finished Seventh on the ladder of Nine sides, so it will be interesting to see how he goes, considering how he took North to the finals in all bar one of his years there it will hardly be a shock to see Perth begin to make the climb up the ladder! 8)

Dunno about shock, but I'll be surprised if they do move up the ladder.

I was quite surprised by that cos I thought Andrew Jarman was a dyed-in-the-wool Adelaide person. Never thought he'd be one to move to WA.

Actually a bloke like Jars will be really good for the WAFL because of his larger-than-life character and his ability to promote interest in the competition.

I reckon Perth will become a good side under him.

Might not. He was offered a full time role and chose to go part time. I assume so he can continue with some of his media work.

Jars made an off the cuff comment the other night that "the big Jumbo might track me down in Perth" - alluding to Rick Davies and perhaps a transfer to WA division of Fielders (is it Fielders???). Perhaps that will consume the rest of his time.

Sounds like the package Perth have offered Jarman is more substantial than what he was on at North Adelaide, so who knows whether that's enough for him in pulling in a full-time wage, but he did hint that even a part-time coach would still be putting in full-time hours in football coaching.
