The latest news:

As you may be aware, the Ramco Football Club has recently made a formal application to move from the Mid Murray Football Association to the Riverland Independent Football League. The Robertstown Football Club has also made formal application to move to the Adelaide Plains Football League.

In accordance with the SANFL Constitution and the Affiliated Leagues Charter both of these applications have been forwarded to the Affiliated Leagues Investigation Committee for determination. The Investigation Committee has 60 days to make its decision.

The Investigation Committee will seek submissions from all leagues, clubs and groups involved with the Mid Murray Football Association and surrounding districts.

Whilst the Investigation is underway the SANFL and all / any of the parties involved in the Investigation will not be providing any statement or information to the public or media.

Thank you in advance for your co-operation – we will advise you all formally of any decisions made at the appropriate time.

It would have to be getting close to the end of the 60 days would'nt it? I did notice sedan/cambrai advertising for a coach and players.

I'm hearing ya there... and I just stand in the goal square all day, let alone having the biggest bloke on the ground jumping into me all day! :D

Thanks aswell mate, I played 5 years at West Croydon so to take this job it's also a chance to 'go home' in a sense..... that with the fact that lots of people are telling me i'm wasting my time and I can't turn them around makes me all the more determined. Time will tell

Yeah my brother will be coming with me :D
The BSR coach, being our Uncle, was one of the first people to know that the West Croydon job was in the pipeline and also that Brett would play for me if it all went to plan.
While Wayne would be disappointed in losing Brett there are lots of other guys at BSR who can jump straight in where Brett left.
They are a very proud club and strong thru all the grades and have plenty of good footballers ready to take the oppertunities that are presenting.

Anyone looking to play country footy (for the right reasons!) should consider Blanchetown/Swan Reach, Brett and myself had an awesome time up there last year and would be up there again if I weren't coaching.
They have definately created something special with their football and netball clubs and everyone involved should be extremely proud! It was a unique experience

Adam played in the Mid Murray Inter-Association team and is a fairly handy player.
Good size and could play at either end of the ground

And if Adam is looking for a game in Adelaide he would be very welcome at West Croydon! :D

Thanks Buckets...Still reckon you should have played A Grade finals, but, playing in a Premiership with your bro is 100 times better! :D

Rosie should be right for next year, hope so, he is a gun.

He coached 3 GF's in a row at the Hawks in the late 90's...That's pretty hard to top young fella.

When are we gonna catch up for a drink? Have to catcha at the Palais again unless your Mum and Aunty Shaz give us the keys to the shack for a weekend
No starting fights outside with the Rosewater boys next time though :D

and i tell you what, i hear every move he made in all three grand finals.
i think the shack is a better option than the palais, some not very nice looking people round there. and if i remember correctly (which i probably dont) i was being the peace maker with the rosewater blokes ;)
