Some extremely tough weekends coming up Magoo. I must say that the Goolwa boys should achieve our goals with ease. While we steal 150 bricks each, we will have other members of the community stealing commodores. they will then be taken to the local chop shop (which one in Goolwa is yet to be decided). Not only will we have a new clubrooms we should also make a tidy profit on the side. Note to the VH players. The stuffed tiger at glenelg is now at the Adelaide Zoo, so dont spend too much time at the Bay searching for it.
You can love football, but it wont always love you back!

Answer 1 ; yes but don't want to do it
Answer 2; Sometimes things just come into the brain and away the imagination goes.
I think it comes from sitting at the steering wheel and bouncing up and down on the Salt Creek to Kingston Road
thinking if only there was anubile young female on the lap

I have to admit always a funny read on the GSFL forum I'd like to hand out some awards as it's always good to read this site.

And the awards should go this way;

1st - I'm nominating Mr Magoo for the funniest person on here, great read guaranteed.
2nd - Jelom in a humerous second, gotta love some stirring
3rd - A Mum for most posts ever in the shortest amount of time

and last but not least just missing out on medal contention

4th - BJ for presidential advisor of the year - the most "all round nice guy award" still the winner with the parents I bet you'll never rid those boyish good looks ha ha

Glad I could make someones day, counting down the minutes til 5.

Sharks are looking up, I was a bit worried but since meeting our new coach I have alot of confidence that he is a great fit for our club. We are working towards bridging the gap some more and hopefully within a few years being a contender again. Time and hard work but very promising and exciting times ahead.

That sounds like a pretty sweet evening there Damo, I'm heading home to have a few brews while watching the Aussies push sh!t uphill on a flat tracker.

I heard from a couple of the Mclaren lads that they ran into Shane Crawford in the early hours one morning on the footy trip, he got his phone out and gave it to them saying "grab any phone no. you want", then, as he walked off screamed; "THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!"

Sailing
Beats me what anyone gets from Sailing.
Goes a bit with Cycling and horse riding

LF Some bloke invented steam engine, then a mad German invented a diesel engine I guess the Japanese
invented the 2 stroke (I'm only good for 6 or 7 strokes and thats it for me)

We now have engines in boats to replace a sailing ship
We have 2 strokes in Motor Bikes to replace the deadly treddly
And a bloody good Commodore to replace the horse and donkey
Even the old paddle steamer which you should know about is better than a sailing boat

I know Goolwa is a very old town....but i thought it had progressed a bit more :)

Anyway I guess you like it and hope the wind blows a bit for you

I thought you were lucky to even get a mention BJ. Again i have been completely overlooked, the contribution I have made with limited opportunites and ability is second to none, yet I continue to be overshadowed by the front running, flashy types. Its very disappointing.

LF im hurt! Ur snipe at me to not even deserve a mention as i head towards the 1000 post mark hurts me dearly. Front running, well get on the running track now and u too could be a "front runner"! :goodman: Im happy to sit on the coat tails of my far more talented team mates and get the cheap kicks! \:D/

I was wrong BJ and your circumstances back up my point. The solid contributors (1000 posts) get overlooked by these "Jelom come latelys" or someone who possibly isn't even a mother.

A bit sensative BJ ...not much of snipe
All about you though...how can you turn a post about awards and three worthy recipitants into you having nearly 1000 posts

Its all about a classy mid fielder getting the accolades and the honest back pocket team man missing out again
No wonder LF goes sailing...can't afford a bloody motor
