Hmmm, only a week after BDO. My ears will be spoiled and the wallet empty.

Not sure of the price, last year's was about $80 IIRC, this year's probably gonna be a little bit more.

You reckon?! I thought he was a massive disappointment. Played a whole bunch of commercial rubbish. The pinnacle of his shithouse set was when he dropped Kelly Clarkson and the whole f*cking crowd went off its nut and in chorus were screaming "Since you've been gone!!!!". I've vowed never to go back to the Lorne Falls Festival again.

I hope he plays some of his better mash-ups this time around.

I thought it was great fun. Wasnt expecting to hear tiny dancer over the 2 days....

I did think the atmosphere at this years Falls was alot different tho. Think this was my 4th time and first one in a couple of years and didnt seem anywhere as laid back as previous ones i had been 2.

He did as a good DJ would do and that is play to your crowd, which was full of pretty boys and girls who were more concerned with popped collared shirts (which were then removed once the pills kicked in) and makeup. I think I just expected a very different set.

Yes, the atmosphere was different, even in stark contrast to the year before. There was an air of pretension all weekend and a massive disrespect for the place. I couldn't believe how trashed some people left their camping spot, couches torn to shreds and left there, broken bottles just for the sake of breaking bottles.

I think if I were to go to Falls again, I'd make the trip to Tasmania and have a decent holiday around it. Have been told it's well laid back.

Worth it for The Drones alone. Their new album is fantastic.

I agree LL, a great homegrown band.

Will look forward to seeing Jay Reatard as well, I reckon you'd probably take a liking to his set.

I really want to see the Hold Steady. Not much else there that excites me too much, most of the Australian bands I have seen multiple times. It was a good day last year though. This year they are having another stage but not really sure where they are going to fit it in. There wasn't much room to move last year.

Er, yes. I buggered that up.

Let's hope it's better organised than the schmozzle that happened here. They're looking to de-canonise St Jerome.

No problems at all with the layout at Adelaide, although it wasn't at capacity (the heat and festival saturation keeping a few punters away).

Was a real good day with a heeeeaps relaxed atmosphere (so much so that security didn't seem to mind me climbing the barricades to get a better view ;) ). Cut Off Your Hands, Jay Reatard, The Drones and Architecture In Helsinki were the standouts shows, and even Girl Talk wasn't too bad.
