Has anybody seen the 2nd XI game?

SA 6/97. Only 286 behind so we need 287 to win, with 4 wickets in hand.

Ya Dreaming mt79. Unless Klinger can farm the strike.
Not the strongest 9, 10, J i've seen.

4 LBWs so far and only 1 out caught suggests the pitch may be staying down a bit now which would make any run chase very difficult for a team with little attacking batting talent in it.
SA has gifted too many lots of 6 points in recent years with generous declarations and over ambitious run chases. A Draw remains their best result.

according to cricinfo it's 7/323 but when you add up the batsmans scores it's 324. Don't know where they went wrong.

In the match notes it says that the runs in the SA 1st innings don't match.

Well done to Klinger, but hopefully that's not a one off. ;)

I don't think we would have got the 1st innings points anyway; it will be interesting to see how we go about the run chase. We will definitely get enough time for the runs - so they can have enough time to bowl us out. :)

Redbacks helped out by 43 extras (17b  , 9lb, 16nb, 1 wd) - 2nd top scorer

Well played Klinger - look forward to seeing him and Younis doing the same together!

I also hope Ferguson tries to learn as much as he can from Younis about building an innings after getting off to a good start!

Without Klinger, the Redbacks would have been all out for around 150-200, what an inclusion he is!

he BETTER back it up for the REST of the season! :D
