Trav Smith coached the 18's at Westies and took over the B Grade last year when Francis left. The B Grade coach Johnno took over the A Grade.

Heard a strong rumor that one K KLomp is considering taking the B grade job at Ovingham. He retired after the premiership win but apparently the original candidate pulled the pin and Klompy got a phone call.I know at least 6 blokes who will stay at the club and play for Klompy. Will be interesting to see if they offer any money to secure the great man.If they have any money that is.

A loyal club man would do the B grade gig for very little money and I would say being a small club trying to move ahead this may be the case.. I cast serious doubts over anything you say considering everybody at Mad Monday said they were staying.. And yes, all your old time mates were there. Im more interested in seeing wether the Klompster pulls on the boots again. Itchy feet for a great player hopefully.

Do you really thing blokes would say they were leaving and risk a three month ban before the B & F was held?

They wouldnt be banned for 3 months. If you referring to Barry(which Im sure you are), he controlled his own destiny.

Klomp would have been the one next in line cos i spoke to the bloke who the pres wanted to do the job and he has a lot on his plate already so he wasn't sure. IF sir klomp retires he'd do it and probably for very little... as he knows the current financial position of the club.

Just quietly boys I'm surprised a div 7R coach would get paid at all. Of course someone will do it for small cash. Should probably just get reimbursed for all the phone calls made Friday night trying to hook up the numbers for a team.

Big call 04 coach,I will check that out with him tomorrow.Id say if he did a few of his old mates may come for a kick aswell. As for playing again he reckons he couldnt run 50m this year so may not leave the goal line

Sounds about right. He'd still be a gun if you cut off one of his legs. The club must be desperate as I heard they're happy for him to coach on Saturdays but he does'nt have to turn up to training during the week.Don't think I've heard of a coach doing that before.

I'm sure Wattle will back me up on that one

I don't think Wattle would back you up at all.KK has'nt agreed to anything yet.The club are desperate to hang on to him so they're doing anything they can to make that happen, but I'm sure he would'nt throw himself into a coaching role if he could'nt commit %100.But if he did I'm sure he'd be just as good at that as he is as a player.Heard he still gets phone calls from people at Payneham every year asking him to come back.
