But knowing who i am i won't wish you too much luck for obvious reasons..!!!

theres the stubborn mex congrats early thought would happen down oval rd all the best !

Pretty standard posting form the express i would've thought... I heard he was having a few beers with ZC last night and that was a joint post between them..!!

take that on board mex ill try and lift my game, my opinion is D Earl is at the point in his football career where he thinks reynella have got the cattle to go where they have not been in 32 years and he can turn that around, admit since ive been back last 4 years has not been the best but has and will get to the top where the club belongs,Dave would not leave morphies (my thought) cos they are rebuilding would be cos he would see a chance to coach A grade football, a change of scene , a challenge , he wanted the job 2 years back but did not happen of course, all the best, as a A grade player cant wait to catch up and have a beer and a chat with dave! if morphies turn there back and be sour pusses about it thats not good !

I was under the impression that Early did not want too coach the A grade,so i dare say that Early has gone for it and not got the job id say,but too go to a rival like Reynella is just not good. Its like Garry Mcintosh going to Pt Adel it just dont work for me.Dale Wilson is another massive surprise for me,i never really thought that Dale enjoyed being Hillys puppet and now he has gone and followed him.I actually got the feeling that if Hilly and Early stayed on this year then alot of players would have left.I really hope the prez sticks it out again and with a bit of luk we can entice the big 3 to come back.Hilly and Dale good luk but sorry Early as much as i luvd ya mate i just cant say good luk to you my friend.

Does anyone know if this coaching situation at reynella is even a done deal? Looking back Mex is the only one who has claimed this. No one yet from reynella has confirmed that this deal is happening. Can anyone confirm that this is true? fly?

Firstly express, i reckn all of your recent coaches thought they had the cattle to go all the way for the first time in 32years only to be let down by the players when it came down to the crunch!!
Im not convinced that going from M/Vale to arch rival Reynella or vise versa is an accepted thing!!! correct me if im wrong but as a reynella player could you ever see yourself playing for the emus??? ........... Didnt think so.!!. I understand that he is going as coach not a player but as a true m/vale person i couldnt think of anything worse than crossing to the dark side
(no cheap shot there, just reality). It just doesnt sit well with me but thats just my opinion.
This is no way a cheap shot at EARLY ( far from it ), i hope he gets what he wants out of it without tasting success. No Sour Grapes at all, He'll still bleed red and black.........

The Emus have also lost there President as well. Some pretty high profile departures.

swooper / ZC / twisties / BRD what's your take on club man Earl leaving for your rivals. You guys must have an opinion on the issue? mex and dutchman have presented theirs.

Flyer, i appreciate that you may think there is more than meets the eye, facts are that Steve has left for McLaren, but being the decent person he is gave the club ample time to source a new coach and is leaving on great terms, the current president has not "officially" resigned at this stage, our A grade assistant has left for a head coaches role that obviously was not offered at MV and the B grade coach of 1 year has left... Within a week we will announce our new A grade coach, once on board the B grade announcement will follow shortly after, if you blokes were talking of quality "PLAYERS" leaving then yeah i'd be concerned and on that front things are looking quite positive for next year...

My mail is that the new A grade coach will be announced shortly. Unfortunately i dont have a name. B grade is interesting with Pro hart's finest work yet Dale Wilson making a last second decision to take Mclaren Mcgoos.

That was one night for the record books that is for sure... Holy Cow I still find myself giggling at the nights events, the couple that i can remember, Swooper spewing his guts up at the bar certainly took the cake though... Looking forward to the Gold Coast in a couple weekends...

Hey what's happening at Happy Valley.

Surely there is no truth in the rumour about Ben Porter getting the job.

I hear that his sacking from South was very popular with the support staff.

Hard to believe but any turmoil at the emus has been averted by the very fact that some people are leaving. Hilly, Early and Beech have been absolutely fantastic for the club. You would have to be extremely ignorant though if you think a club can continue stay at the top by assuming things will continue that way without change. Some fresh faces and ideas is the best way to reinvigorate the enthusiasm of all the people involved at the club, so other clubs better think again if they think the emus were about to slide down the ladder.

As for Early heading to Reynella, they committee has shown some real nuts here. This could go either way. Early will demand things be done one way - his way. He wont guarantee a flag next year but perhaps in the next 2 or 3. Some players will like him, others will hate him, but will they swallow their pride for the sake of the club. This is what the current group of players seem to have trouble with.
