And the coach in question isn't a premiership coach, he coached the runners up.

Ok - here's some stuff I've heard....

An Independent club on the look out for a coach has had interest from a former premiership coach. If it all falls into place he will be taking with him a RFL goal umpire as his team manager. Two players thought not to be playing for that club next season will actually play. The coach's step son will leave the club he joined this season, while a very talented youngster will leave another Independent club to play.
This could make the club a threat to play in the grand final next season.

If it all falls into place....

Meantime, according to something I heard today, a well known Independent player is set to not play next season. He's been integral in the club's success of previous seasons, although they haven't been able to achieve the ultimate. You all know who this cat is....

Heard Russ charles maybe retiring.
Not many RFL Goal Umpires to chose from

When I spoke to Russ Charles last he said he was keen to play on - he had a bet going with some blokes about them losing weight and if they committed to trying to do that he'd play on.

I think some people are on the money regarding the other rumour ;)

Ok, bean spilling time:

Former Brown's Well premiership coach Bruce Watson is understood to be in the running for the Wunkar job. If he gets it, it is understood goal umpire Tony Hucks will be his team manager, meaning Tim and Simon Hucks (who were understood not to be playing next season) will most definitely be playing. Bruce's step-son Scott Huddleston will transfer from Lyrup and Brown's Well's Tyson Beck will leave the Bombers to join the Bulldogs.

Apparently Lyrup's Anthony Lippis is deciding whether he'll play or not next season. With twins on the way, life's going to be a bit busier for the big fella. However, if his coach will allow him to play without training, he may still have a kick. You'd hope his coach would let him play without training!

I'm not saying this stuff is true. Just rumour that I've heard, both from very reliable sources.

Lippis will let the story go so the papers get hold of it and he can get his head on the back page. What a show pony. Most overrated player going around if you ask me. Don't rate him as a footballer at all.

It's in the Swans' constitution (like most clubs) to advertise, even if current coach is likely to get the job again methinks.

I've heard they have signed ex club legend Bob Vogt and he will line up at full forward to cover the loss of Daryl Tilbrook. Any truth to that Cod Master?

I was talking to Steve Renfrey and he still confirms Tilbrook is not playing at Cobby next year. I'm only going by what his best mate told me.
