I reckon that'd be confirmed.
SS ain't a rumourmonger.
Plus his job would see him talking to a lot of Mallee people I'd think.

He was with Kangarilla in the Hills Country League.
Huge pick-up for Karoonda if it's true.

Not sure whether he is playing but definately coaching.

i wouldn't be suprised if he played, they need all the players they can get at the moment.

Good thinker the big man is and will do a good job.

Huge is the right word chuck, Atleast the Karoonda Bakery will do well this year. He'll put himself in the square & kick 70 or more. A cream puff in 1 hand & a Southern Comfort in the other. Will bring some quality with him tho

I know Damien Garrret & Muffy are going to be contacted to see if they will play out here next year. Be a huge pickup if both of them come.

Big Smelty - Definitely need to get Hocking up and about. Last time I saw him he was up a tree using his fat belly as a bullnose verandah for tourists to the area in the park. Good luck Smelty - Kangarilla recruits? Will be interesting to see what players he will get on board. Ugly man but good footy head -that is when it is out of his backside. Good for Karoonda - Proud club and would like to see them back up there after some difficult times of recent years.

The big sausage roll is on the move and players are onboard the smelt express from kangys. word has it a ruckman already signed 3 to 4 promonant A graders are on the move and a few quality B graders to booster karoonda's stocks. Will be intersting if smelty can sign these boys on for a few free steaks and help struggling Karoonda.

That's great news for the Mallee League, we need all clubs to be competitive for the sustainability of the league. 2009 is shaping up to be a great season.
