I originally thought it wasn't a bad effort at selecting the team of the year but in hindsight more Dogs players and Boyd missing out is a bit amazing. Mind you considering Central lost to North by 50pts during the year its probably understandable as we were hopeless.

Yeah but if you were picking a best of finals series team you'd have about a dozen Dogs in there...

Yeah, agreed, I was thinking that as I typed my previous post but was too lazy to try and express it.
Its easy to say the Dogs deserve more players in there than North but its probably a compliment to them as they're a very even team where with North Allan and Alleway were clearcut standouts.

Cant believe Recruit of the Year Craig Gogoll from Eagles narrowly missed selection , especially after his magnificent round 2 performance on Hargreaves from Port , keeping him to 10 goals was a memory all of us who witnessed it will take to the grave .

One interesting fact about this years team is the large amount of players who already have been in this team in previous years. Also, that the Full Forward, CHF, HFF (Fisher), Centre and Wing (Gallagher) is the same as last year.
