Who else have they called..? And how much coin is serious??

Heard Prouse definatley at Freeling next year.

Nuri could make a mistake a lot of clubs do... try to bring back past success with out of date players/coaches, or it could be a master-stroke, only time will tell if they take that path!

LC - they have called at least two gun on ballers that I have heard... $500 is the amount being bandied about...

I hate to ruin your story guys but Renmark doesn't have serious coin to throw around.

They didn't pay a single player last year, had some ex local boys and a couple of friends that just wanted a kick travel down for less than would cover petrol.

Good rumour though, whoever chooses to go to the Rovers will because they want to play there not because of cash.

Skeletal Spanner is spot on here... after paying for the coaches yearly supply of hair product & head-sized underwear The Rovers don't have a lot of pennies left in the cupboard to pay imports

Whoever chooses to go up there might wanna sign a pre-nup stating they wont stand Roo in a GF either... tell the coach he can do that himself, he will tell you he is easily good enough!!!

not many pumba because a lot of the gun players in this league are with their original clubs but if you go out & try to recruit a gun player for $500- many will ask if you want them to shower at half or three quarter time

TR, Aaron Camplin is teaching at Renmark, and I think Matt might have followed him up for a lifestyle change (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

Maybe you can come and be my manager John Doe when talking like that!! $750 plus your dreaming, there wouldn't be 5 players in the barossa on that if 1. $500 is serious coin, its where the gun players start there bidding from, some get a bit more if they can talk the talk but this figure really is the ceiling in player payments, ANY MORE AND YOU ARE GETTING GREEDY!! Where you find serious coin is in sign on fees, a couple of grand is nothing for a guns signiture! Lets just see if your mighty panthers will spend some money this year and fill thier import spots( seeing they saved heaps on thier coach, haha) maybe you should do the recriuting with offers like that!

From what i have heard, He has re-applied at Eastern Park and would be a certainty to get it if he wants it. It is in the constitution to re advertise every year. Think he is fielding offers and the like though and would be silly not to consider them.....Very good coach.

Some of us actually carve out our crust in the business world pin-dick and can't get online everyday.

The Tigers will announce a coach when we are ready, no rumors or speculation will be forthcoming from me, the shredder has been working overtime though.

Players who MAY be able to ask around the 500 mark in the BLG... (feel free to add to the list anyone I may have missed)

Note: Even though they may, not all of these blokes would be on that coin...

Angaston:
Nil

Barossa:
M Steltzer
D Thomas (though his is wrapped up in his payment as Ass. Coach)

Freeling:
Nil

Gawler Centrals:
S Hahn
B Taylor

Kapunda:
B Taylor

Nuriootpa:
Nil

South Gawler:
A Bayliss

Tanunda:
M Greenwood
B Newberry
A Kennedy

Willaston:
Nil

Yet I know there are a handful of other players who THINK they should be able to demand that sort of cash!!
