why would he want to come to a div 4 club??
what can you guys offer him that districts cant??

For starters a bar that stays open past 8.30pm
Remeber it's only Amateur League, many a player before have dropped a few divisions to have fun and play footy.
On the Coard issue, would have more chance getting Fisty and Felch :)[/quote]

they'd come over for $600 a game...........everyone else gets that apparantly??

It's the same ol story every year Amber half these prices then they're close.
It's a case of : You ask a woman how many people she has slept with then double the answer, then ask a man the same question then half the answer :)

Not even close.

Thats not really the point though. Im talking about enticing a bloke to leave playing with his mates, play a lower div and travel a fair way from home.

Nothing but a beer voucher and the odd redback handshake in my first year when I kicked 107(had to add that) from El presidente. That is the honest truth, was getting 120 at districts before I left, just wanted to play with mates

I agree that the amounts talked about on here are over-inflated.

Hood was/is on very, very good money though...

Maybe that changed with the change of coach during the season...

Im not doubting that for a second mate, but the key things there are mates, and you basically moved 2 minutes up the road.

But what would of taken for you to go and play with guys you didnt really know, and a fair distance from home ?

oh i totally agree dont get me wrong but all im saying is reece came down with the hoods he has only been at the club 2 years i think and im not sure what what his loyalties are like with the number of clubs he has played at. also i think matt leaving is going to leave haven in big trouble this season, beacause i think if matt leaves say good by to mick brad probably pricey and reece

I have figured out why Ca$h Haven won't get out of div 4. It's not that they can't it's that they are unwilling to leave the div 4 thread behind. Even the Portland Pussies seem to be having trouble leaving it.
