Here are the best omens I can come up with-

1986 was the last year both my footy teams (Hawthorn and Glenelg) won the premiership in the same year.

1986 was the last time Boston Celtics won the NBA, and the Patriots lost the NFL superbowl.

2008, so far Boston have won the NBA, Hawthorn won the AFL and the patriots lost the Superbowl....

If it guarantees us the next 3, then I am sure we could come to an arrangement.

But seeing as though no one would guarantee us that, you can gefugged! :D

Very good.

Bays win this year
Dogs in 09, 10, 11 then the reign will end.

I guess Norwood can go for the 2012 premiership.

Centrals will have to create history
They have never beaten GL in a Grand Final........

They also have never beaten.....

Port
Norwood
West
Sturt
South

Glenelg in a Grand Final have never beaten......

Norwood
West
Sturt
South
Eagles
And.............Centrals.

Glenelg have only ever beaten North and Port ( 1934 )
Centrals have only ever beaten Eagles and North.

One team will add a 3rd club to their belt...which one ?

On a straight swap basis, 2023. You'd still have more to look forward to than Port though, hey :D

Keep this one for the archives- Spelly was wrong!

Never thought I'd live to see the day

You'll have to keep on living; Glenelg did not even make the Under 17s finals that year. Norwood beat Sturt 14.11 to 6.9 to win the 1986 Under 17s flag, In the list of under age premierships in past year books, Norwood is the only team next to 1986 for the 17s.

Glenelg finished 6th in 1986:
