Not necessarily! If the player rates himself they would be thinking they would be in the best week in week out. Therefore certain of getting paid!

If a player rates himself, he wouldn't come to a club because of the chance he could get fifty bucks if he got BOG. Not when he could go somewhere else and be guaranteed $50-100 just for turning up to the game.

Good point! But it all depends on how big the incentives/payments are!!

It is my belief that Josh is continuing at Fitzroy- he has enjoyed the friendly environment, & has no reason to look elsewhere.

Shrek, that's a nice round figure, how did you come up with that?

You gotta get a lot of kicks for that sort of money, even at SAAFL level and you gotta stop guessing what's going on around you.

thats a fair bit of cash for a team that regardless of how high they finish, will only be as high as Division 2!

Funnily enough the reason they'll give you for such is that they can't afford to compete with they big $$$$ clubs, sounds like they are ticking along pretty well financially!!

Of course these players arent going to tell you that they are getting paid and it wouldn't be in their best interests to do so.

you think a couple of clubs still trying to get out of div 6 got value for money?Maybe they just go for the name not the character. Some of these guys had more clubs than Greg Norman. You reckon when it comes to the crunch its about the club or the money? Not too many 100 club game players amongst them.
