Would have thought Collins would be a worthy candidate but I thought he was heading to North Adelaide in some type of role.

Chris McClean to Gepps X is done deal...

Steltzers leaving Barossa, going with Gibson from Nuri to another club, I believe may be celebrating their centenary year..

King and Wozniak contemplating retirement at G Cents.
Not sure if Central Districts making the GF again helps or hinders the return of M Slade to the Tigers, mind you he has been coming back for at least the last 3 years

Brad Taylor may be leaving the Bombers, but not sure to where (this I heard from a mates cousins dogs best friend type of thing) so dont know how accurate.

Anyone else heard of any movements?

On-ball changing HFF or FP,

Very Very good skills, quick and athletic, small in size, finds plenty of the footy and can kick goals.

Came Equal 3rd in the medal here without a great deal of support from his team-mates.

Not just in it for the cash, likes a good club atmosphere I believe.

Intersting move, I know Taylor has friends out at Modbury, I was told it was hard to tell he was a visiting player when Centrals had their trial there earlier in the year!!!

E05, rumour in this or is there something to back this up...

There has been talk of this occurring for a couple of seasons... apparently has promised his mates he will have a season with them at some stage... logic would have it that he would have a crack at Div 1's with them..

2006: Freeling vs Barossa
2007: Barossa vs Freeling
2008: Tanunda vs Barossa

My guess is Barossa have had the same $ spend approx over the years, so just guessing who spent the most from the other clubs...

The talk is Freeling were going through $100k + change per year...
But I have a sneaking suspicion that with all the chip ins from sponsors etc, Tanunda have surpassed that mark...

EVERYONES THOUGHTS???

LC Freeling in 06 & 07 where way above everyone else on $104K, Barossa & Blockies nowhere near that mark despite what everyone thinks, both paying out about $50K this year, incidently so did Willaston (approx $45K). Freeling would have been up there this year but their payed players all got injured saving them a packet.

Boozehound Freeling are struggling to get a coach because their base squad is not good and simply no one wants to coach them, plus their bulleting of Leal has not gone down well in the footy community. However just go for a drive around Freeling and have a look at the grain crops this season, I'm sure there maybe an injection of funds to come in around Jan.

Skip

Being a now past member of Freeling i to have heard they have spent over $100k on player payments which i must add absolutely disgusts some members of the club.
Asked about the seats being fixed so you can actually sit on them while you watch the game and the reply you get is WITH WHAT MONEY!

My 3 boys have had enough after 2 seasons in the juniors and have decided to go play for Tanunda and help out their juniors as they are short of players.

My boys had 3 clubs ask if they would go and play for them which is quite pleasing considering a couple of the boys do show some good skill. BUT what i cant understand is that NOT ONCE did anyone from Freeling actually ask what needs to be changed to stop the boys from leaving.

We looked at Nuriootpa and Tanunda as they seem to be 2 clubs that are spending the $$$s on the clubrooms and surrounds which will only benefit the players and supporters long term.

Also Craig Moore the junior development officer at Tanunda done a great job in talking to my boys and basically helped make their minds up on who to play for.

They had four applicants from what I have heard....

Not happy with any of them?? Looks like there is a bit of movement in the coaching circles, might pay for them to re advertise.

JD you said that you did not attend the game but I'm sure that I saw you down at the Barossa box commentating the game and I'm sure giving them some of your valuable insight into country footy.

Big Shrek I think Grosser came to the blockies half way through the season. It sounds as though his A grade days are over especially with the big men that the Blockies already had on their A's.
