Am interested in whether the Bays players were spat on by some Centrals supporters (or better known just as DOGS)as they left the field at the end of the game this week as happened to the Sturt players last week.This has been officially reported by the players concerned in last weeks incident

i have had some time to think about this, and honestly believe we are behind the times, this is 2008 not 1978 where everyone got blind at the footy, its not cocher anymore, alright we can drink, but animalistic behaviour surely cannot be tolerated, i am a baby boomer (1962) i love getting pissed, i swore on the hill today, but i didnt make a nuisance, get aggressive and abuse other patrons leaving the ground, ban full strength alcohol, we as community cannot be trusted to control ourselves, i have seen it at oakbank, adelaide oval, aint good enough, if 22000+ were at a cricket match the security and copper presence would have been doubled. WHY!!

I've seen Central play 3 weeks in a row now - I'm constantly amazed by how many of their supporters smuggle booze in. Don't bags get checked at the gate? One guy in front of us today had a cooler bag filled with cans which he was cleverly using to refill his plastic cups. Last week a bloke wasn't quite as discreet with his bottle of red however and actually got busted. Probably unfair to just pin this on Dogs' supporters however , just an observation

all well and good to make joking remarks BP and have a laugh but these things are dangerous and cause serious injuries through toxic chemical burns. As a boat owner who regularly forks out for these up to date items in question I am positive that they have stamped on them somewhere that they can cause injuries if misused. I am not sure if I can trust the average Central supporter's intelligence to do this safely This type of behaviour IMHO is unacceptable in this country and is best left to a Turkish Super League match

I understand every team have their share of idiots but it seems year in year out we have a majority more than others.

2000 2001 were great years and the supporters seemed just grateful to finally win a couple but each year it is getting worse.

And I'll stand up to hypocrisy when people bag Centrals supporters just for the hell of it when their own club has its problems.
But the actions described by Stampy are very poor.

To the three burly glenelg supporters that deliberately threw beer on my niece. To the hoons in the car that swerved making out they were going to hit us on War Memorial Drive, with the Glenelg 85/86 membership stickers. To the Glenelg supporters hiding weapons of mass destruction, to those behind cyclone Katrina and especially to those Glenelg supporters behind the sub prime crisis, shame on you. To the Central supporters that bragged about 9 prelim wins in a row, shame on you also.
To be honest Stampy I'm sick of it also, hearing about this over the last thirty years. I think any poor behaving supporters should be kicked out.
I guess I'm just lucky that over the last 35 years of going to the footy I've never copped any abuse from opposition supporters. Never copped the "how many premierships you won?" , "Get a job" (i have one) "Go home to your slum", "dirty slut" to my girlfriend, "go back to pommy land" (other supporters must originate from China or somewhere?).etc etc etc
I'm not saying it's acceptable but your'e not an orphan (I'm guessing the orphan bit).
