A-Mum will Mclarens have any colts in either grade not getting a game?

Didn't see this yesterday afternoon Kappers :)

There are always going to be some who miss out unfortunately :(
Always going to be a few tears for those who do miss out but hopefully those not playing will realise that they have helped to get their team to the position they're in tomorrow and still be made to feel apart of it =D>

My son missed out last year so I know how they feel... on a brighter note he made the team this year.... so that's a relief.. .. would have hated for him to miss out for a second year in a row and I'm sure he knows how lucky he is to be given the chance this year.... he also knows that Grand Finals don't come around every year....

Hopefully he and his team put it altogether tomorrow and come out with the premiership (Sorry BJ :D )

And then to top off a good day so do our Senior colts \:D/

O:)

Hi Shoe boy,

I'm 99% sure you can't byo to the grand final.

I remember an incident last year at Strath where the 'GSFL police' came around and told supporters to put away their alcohol or they would confiscate it or similar !!

Hopefully when the other GSFL site users come on they can confirm this information for you O:)

Not fair hey!!

Thank you for bringing this up, you've made my day! Chris was much better in all aspects. A much better kick, contested mark, tougher, ladies man and had to work hard to kick his tons. He wasn't fed by the likes of Portlock Carnavale Genovese & Baxter, although Baxter may have played a couple of games with Chris. Chris was a gun!!

100% no BYO Shoe Boy, but of course a lot of people do. Its not a major concern in the GSFL becasue we get no incidents like we see in the SFL as have been reported on your forum.

Thanks for confirming that LF.... I was pretty sure you couldn't... but wasn't 100% sure.

Was just reading the Victor Times and yes there is a notice in there from Mt Compass Football Club stating that 'please' no alcohol or glass to be brought into the grounds on Saturday.

Wes Glass (Willunga)
Matt Footner (Langhorne Creek)
Owen Love (Encounter Bay)

Full Back:

I was speaking to someone during the week and he told me that police will be at the ground all day. I was also told that Liquor Licencing (they are the ones who will take your booze and give the hosts a rocket) will be there keeping an eye on things. To top it off, police will be stopping most of the cars that exit Compass oval. Big tip, don't drink drive.

Well I think that's good NWNW.

Surely by now people realise not to drink and drive... but I suppose you'll always get the odd 'silly' person

So with the liquor licensing people... is that why Mt Compass put an advert in The Times... to cover themselves??

Comparing Chris and Dvid Hams
Chris...Played at Glenelg ,Pt Noarlunga,Willunga,McLaren Flat.
Premiership at Willunga 1986 (First year in GSFL) plus 100 goals
Very Accurate from 40 metres or less. Never saw him get any further away than that...in fact to get passed the 10 yard square was rare.
The one time he did while Coach at the Flat did a calf (he thought he had been shot)
Good hands (to Mark)....never ever handballed. Loved to wink after a goal (no high fives or shit like that) great one on one.
A good sport
A good dad
A good clubman
David.
Good lead, good hands and I did see him handball once and Chris got stuck into him at quarter time.
Longer Kick than Chris
Fitness Close... Chris just
David more injuries...maybe harder at the ball
Argues with umpire more than dad
David by a whisker...sorry Chris

Heaps more Sons and Dads in the league
Chris Roberts and his boys
Reg Pollard and Scott
Jamie Warren and his boys
Martin Kahl and his boys
Dennis Collier and son
Got to be some Hutchinsons
Kym Richardson and his boys
Tim McLeod and his lad
The McDonald Clan...Barry, Brenton and now Brenton's lad
just to name a few

No I would say that would be the league, I think it was something that happened at Strath last year with licencing. People entering the ground must realise by bringing their own alcohol into the ground they are jeopardising club licences. To add to this, I am sure that not many are aware but glass/alcohol is not permitted on to oval during games for all of the season. It only takes one broken bottle to severley injure someone.

He didn't actually do his calf - he'd lost the comb that he kept in his socks. Hence all the clutching and the look of anguish on his face.
