If you like SUPERMAN I and II, you'll definitely like this - there's more than a passing nod to these two films.

A truly spectacular blockbuster with, wait for it, a half-decent story!

(Don't know how that got past the studio execs but anyway.)

Kevin Spacey is a lot of fun as Lex Luthor, as good as Gene Hackman, though with a bit more menace and evil.

There's even a surprising plot development that will, no doubt, play out a lot more in upcoming sequels.

If only Bryan Singer was involved in the Star Wars prequels...

Im looking forward to it and will take the son as he loves all the superhero movies but has never seen the Christopher Reeve movies.

i cant wait to see it too....and if you never imagined being superman as a kid and wanted to rip ya shirt off to reveal the big S then your not human...or superhuman ;)
