Only thing I would question is the captain, I probably would have picked Frinny being the medallist and all..

Pag is still clinging to the div 3 dream! If the Edwardstown news is true then you boys would be stoked. Sometimes teams need to go down a div to be competitive but I think Salisbury were good enough to stay in div 3 and the in the coming year they should be better prepared by knowing the required standard. A couple of recruits and a fitter midfield and maybe the baby blues could push for the div 3 finals in 2009.

Getting back to ferals, did anyone else notice Iggies crowd were a bit loose? It looked to me as if they had all wandered in from the parklands with casks of goon under there arms.

A full year from Kev Smyth and they'll be premiership material, hey Pag.

Smyth is indeed the key LM.

When we played there they had hardly any supporters at all. And when we played at EP their supporters where fine, they where loud but they where only supporting their team, and they weren't threatening anyone. Seen alot worse

EP supporters are just a bit more vocal then anyone else, and the players aggressive go at the ball and players can itimidate teams. I think the main reason for the "feral" call is because they're from Elizabeth, and if you speak to anyone south of Grand junction rd, everyone up North are ferals. I'm not trying to insult anyone from the Northern Suburbs, the Northern feral thing is common language and i dont think too many people would disagree with that

If you really want to talk about feral players and supporters look no further then Salisbury West. Especially when their female supporters started a bunch up after the semi final last year against Walkerville's female supporters.

Ha ha, that was gold. I had an elevated view from the hill but it was a bit far away. The Walkerville female supporters are big country girls aren't they? I'm sure they gave as good as they got!

Have heard from a few people around Eastern park that they have had 15 - 20 applications for the job next year and a Mr C. Payne has not re applied for the position. Would he be holding out for more money, worried what the club will become when they are not so successful week in and week out or could he have recieved some better offers from rival SAAFL clubs and teams in the Northern area.

Anybody know what the wine is like in the BAROOSA REGION    ????????????????????????

Freeling is more of a grain growing area. There are a few other jobs going out there that would pay a bit.
