What a stupid move, why would they do that?

How can you have your A grade play in division B, it's just confusing.

I would be dead against changing back to letters as would most clubs.

Why, what's happening with Eastside. Chris wasn't much of a batter when I last seen him but he could send the ball down allright if things were going his way.

My understanding is that he left Central United because he wasn't getting enough opportunity with the bat.

Do you play for Eastside? Where is their home ground?

He was a bit of a Johnson at times, but we've all been there, it was Hughes I was talking about, how do you get 38 in an over?

I would be dead against changing back to letters as would most clubs.

I believe it was mainly done because the premiership shields all had the letters on them, not numbers, and it would be too much bother to change them. I know the older church-based clubs prefer to have letters, as that was what the system always was until the last few years.

Is it really such a big deal though - you can still call the divisions whatever you like within your club.

It was done in the merger agreement with Independent Central, and should not be changed back IMO. We lost enough in the merger as it was.

Not sure why something like this was not asked of the clubs in the survey or AGM.

Fair point - I will mention it to the executive committee.

However, if the ex-Independent Central clubs want to have more of a say, they really should nominate someone to the executive - I don't think any candidates would have much trouble getting voted on. Everyone from the current exec is from one of the church clubs!

My main concern is Why Rose Parks magoos are in Divvie E?? Bad form in A's has you hitting tons in the E's

I believe Rose Park requested that their two teams are in these divisions, and that is where they were last season.

I remember that they had 2 teams last season. Did they lose a few players for this season?
