Salis Nth very good today gave Gepps nothing as far as centre clearances are concerned.
Salis Nth dominated the midfield with Hay the force, for 2 wks in a row Hay has stamped his approval on the game & yes i did say Gepps were the side that could only take it up to Goody's but i'm having second thoughts now, what Salis Nth did to Henley they did to Gepps today, they completely outclassed Gepps in all aspects of the game, with that i give the Hawks a big chance next week providing they get a better start than they did last time against the Saints.
Salis Nth deserved the opportunity to take on Goody's & i really hope the Hawks can win the flag.

I would have thought Gepps had the personel to counter Salisbury North but so be it.. Good luck to Salisbury North next weeek... They have done more then expected in the time they have been in the top league.. Tough game next week.. I think Goodwood by 19 points.

No-doubt Goodwood are in a class of their own & will be hard to beat but if they think they only have to front up & the rest will take care of itself they will be in trouble, Salis Nth proved me wrong, i couldn't see them beating Gepps but the smalls of the hawks are very classy in close & win alot of contested balls.. Great pick ups Hay & Rotolo from Port Magpies & with blokes like Jordan, Cutting, Warner & Deneglese the hawks now have a midfield better than any team in the comp.
Good luck to both teams this week.

Don't know if this is true, but I was told yesterday that Salisbury North have never won a premiership in the SAAFL.

Also hear Matty Whelan is back in good form.

First time in the history of the SAAFL that two blokes have tied for a medal from the SAME CLUB.

Congratulations Messrs Demasi and Bartel :D from Goody Saints, tied on 18 votes.

I think it's worth noting 'sharks' that Gepps went one week longer than your guys.

There were about 5 or 6 blokes that could have won it or tied it in the last round or 2.

Bartel, Demasi, Cutting, Pastyn, Coard and a couple who escape me..

Very unlucky, even the Districts coaching staff had coard bog in the last game of the season, yet the peanuts in orange couldnt find 1 vote for him, even christofis with 5 goals couldnt get a vote in that game

Bartel, Demasi - 18
Cutting - 17
Coard, Turner - 16
Butler, Chadwick, Clonan, Pastyn - 15
Smith - 14

Why can the SAAFL put the top three from each club up for A1 & A2 but not for the rest of the grades?

Coard lost the Div2 last year by 1 vote & this years Div1 by 2 votes, a bit stiff.
A mate of mine was at Rams last game at Pt Dist & said although the Rams lost easy S. Coard was B.O.G by a mile, no-one got within coowee of him.
The Umpires thought different
The umpires have trouble as it is with decision making & interpretations of the rules, giving them the job to give votes for the best players is always going to cause controversy, this proves it.
I take nothing away from the 2 winners well done.

Bartel a deserving winner [as is Demasi ]. Bartel, in the games i have seen him play never stops running or working to his team's advantage. gets a lot of touches and uses most to advantage . congrats to him. also congrats to Clonan, would have to be one of the better players in SAAFL . courageous , consistent and fair and surely respected by most opposing sides.and i believe he is a GX boy , having come up thru the juniors [ can you confirm Capt,[[ or his proxy ]] ]
