A Mum - I am pretty sure that Modra played a GF when he was at Renmark in the late 80's/early 90's but broke his arm and they drew with Wakerie. I went to the replay the following week where I think Renmark won (I was only a young fella).

PS - The yiros from the canteen 10/10

The reserves has been Willunga all year until the past 3 weeks, i would expect them to bounce back an put up a very good fight, senior colts has been to tight to pick since round one and the juniors i think will be close, Willunga let themselves down in one quarter in the semi-final, no lapses thistime and it's anyones game.

I hope that fence ur sitting on isnt a picket fence, could be quite painful otherwise!

I count myself lucky there isn't a fence at Compass. After thinking long and hard about it last night BJ, i think the red nd white team might get up in A's & B's

Last season Strathalbyn wanted to make a bronze statue of Mitch Portlock in memory of his grand final performance to win the game against Strathalbyn's arch rivals in Langhorne Creek. Can Mitch repeat his performance in the 08 grand final and come back to haunt Strathalbyn???

I believe the league has a selection panel in place to vote for the best player, not 100% sure though.

I'll have some money on Todd Steele. I think he has been B.O.G in atleast 2 of their GF wins.
Portlock & Hams love the big stage, hope to have a few with them sunday :partyman:

I wouldn't think this rumour is true, has had quite a good year at Port Maggies after missing a few games due to injury and suspension, i would think he would go around again at the Maggies. Let's hope so.

I have followed up on this rumour, Clive will be staying at the maggies for atleast another year and so he should, plenty of football left in him yet! Hueskes and Waterhouse would have been a good match up in the local derby though!
