Sounded like it was a good game...

What was the Bodie Williams v Ben Goering match up like ???

Was a good game Adro

They had a good contest as could be expected. As far as GF games go that was a special one for the Burra's. Modbury were definitly not deserving of a loss, they were a top side all year, a good bunch of guys to play against but we just pulled one out at teh right time of the year !!

Yeah GG ran the ball well and with the breeze the way it was it helped your smaller team get a healthy lead and goals into the wind. Bodie williams is a solid defender why the hell isnt he playin in your 1's or 2's????

He works 2 out 3 Saturdays...

Arguably you could say our A's missed another strong defender but Ads stepped up into that role well this year with Bodie in the C's and kids running through the middle.

Undoubtedly Bodie is a player that could be playing in a much higher grade. At this club or another. He should be commended for being loyal to our club when he new from the outset he wouldnt get much A/B grade time with work and all. Pity that he is a port supporter though

I have it from a VERY reliable source that Phil Jordan was only a late inclusion after being doubtful through a back injury and brought in the best help money could buy to help him come good for the game?

He can now retire a happy man

That 'help' was pretty expensive too..... I haven't screamed so much since my days at the Christian Boys college....

I'm pretty sure he played a few B Grade games earlier in the year and played A's all last season...

Could only play e very 2nd week this year I think, because of having to work on weekends...

C grade went down after being undefeated all year and up by 20 points at 3qrt time, but ovies to good to fit over ran a over confident modbury.GG set the tone of the day early and had the ovies boys fired up for 2 upsets well done boys both wins were by 6 points

Hey Wattle, do you think the Modbury D's losing the first game put any extra pressure on the C's that followed ? Interested in someone elses opinion....

Don't think you got my question gtb... I meant does anyone think that in that scenario where 2 teams are playing on the same day, as Modbury did and as GG A and B's did, that if the team that is first up (eg Modbury D's) loses, it puts pressure on their club in the next game (Modbury C's) ??

Bazz has decided to spend more time on the hill watching the A's and B's. Not sure who the replacement will be at this stage.
