What a day for Flinders Park! Unfortuantly we couldn't take out all 3, but you'd take 2 flags any day of the week. Commiserations to Walkies and Eastern Park, but unfortuantly EP's supporters let them down again. Cya next year yeww!

Saw the Flinders Park and Esatern Park Grand Final at Broadspectrum Oval today...

Flinders Park just way too good on the day and Eastern Park started going the biff when things didn't go their way...

Don't remember final scores but it was Flinders by about 15 goals in the end.

Matthew Kluzek kicked a few, Ronnie Fuller's son was impressive, Nick Pesch won plwnty of the ball and I don't know his name, but the big fella, number 22 kicked a bag of goals and won plenry of the ball in the middle as well. BUT, what the hell was he thinking when he got that free kick in the last term and from about 35m out, tried a DROP KICK, which didn't come off, although they still got a goal out of it !!!

Mick Ashby was pretty awesome for Eastern Park and probably kicked 5 or 6 of their 8 or 9 goals, was brilliant today in a losing side. Well done to both sides for advancing to Div 2 next year, well done to FP for winning the flag...

Well done to Jacko & the boys at Flinders Park. great effort lads.
To all you blokes at Gepps, Jacko has proven what he's capable of & it doesn't come as a surprise to me to see him win a flag regardless if its Div3, all i can say is YOU WERE WRONG Captain Cordial!

Congrats Sean and everyone at Flinders Park on the win, no doubt Jacko the joker will be in fine form for a few days to come. Great to read in Big Phil's report that some former Eagles boys had a good game.
Trust the process.

What's the go for a coach down your way next year mate? Robo leave on good terms?

Congrats to FP, a 15-goal win is a pretty comprehensive win. Will be competitive in A2 next year.

Commiserations to Eastern Park and BH.

have heard there could be a number of retirements from the Flinders park club after the weekend. In all three grades.

There'd only be 4 really older guys in the A Grade. Pesch, Kluzek, Randal and Stahlhut.

His name is Paul Smith BP he went to CBC with my brother and yes he can certainly play. He was best on ground by a mile and number 10 for EP was useless on him  . As for the drop kick when you are 15 goals up in the GF i guess you can do what you want it was party time.
I thought number 1(maybe kieran johnson) was good as well and the forward line for FP was way too good with Smith, Klezek and Fuller all killing their opponents.
As for the crowd i didn't think they were that bad but the ones in the south western pocket had their fair share of words for the players in both games but nothing too bad.

That is not true, the club has organised for a pannel to be sewn in to an old pair they found lying around!

Nah mate, to be honest the facilities there aren't that bad. The only thing is the divider between the rooms. No worse than SMOSH, Scotch, PHOS, Para Hills, Pembroke, Seaton and a few others. The real objection to them progressing would be their supporters.

Most clubs dont have the funding that the likes of Kilburn have and trying to get the council to do any upgrading (unless you have contacts in the council?????) is near on impossible. I dont think you can put Para Hills facilities in the same class as EP, visitors room might be a tad small but its clean and seperate from the home teams rooms with its own toilet and showers.
