Geisler is probably the most gentle giant ever i doubt he meant it Bubs..... Barbs hasnt played much is handy inclusion for the 4's. While meady will play a fair role dont you worry

We can thank our committee, we can thank our supporters but I think the biggest thanks is to the drop-kick losers who knew nothing about 'OUR' club and the Savloy jumping drop-kicks who jumped on board of there ban-wagon to try sink the club we call 'OUR OWN!'.... You can break a heart, you can break a hope but you will never break our spirits!!! 'If you have a dream, you got to protect that dream!'

Today, 22 of us played 24 Modbury players(including 2 umpires)! We played for 'OUR' club and 'OUR' brothers but the number 1 driving force behind our win was your criticism and disbelief that a small struggling club can achieve the 'un-achievable'

With that I would like to on behalf of 'OUR' football club thank you!!!

I just wonder were Ovingham are going to get there players from next year.They're gonna lose at least 10 from this year so it's hard to see them getting one side on the track,let alone two.And will be interesting to see which division they end up in.I did hear that the league has told clubs that they need two teams to take part in the competition next year,but I don't know how true that is.If it is true then we might be seeing the end of clubs like Ovingham and Wingfield,which would'nt be a bad thing in Wingfields case.

refer to earlier post from Punk Rooster, humble in victory ,gracious in defeat. these are the marks of a good person, team etc. you have shown yourself to have none of these qualities which reflects poorly on you , your team mates, your club for the lack of respect you have shown to your opposition on the day and continues to leave your club open to the bad opinions expressed in this in this forum.

We will struggle for numbers yeh but theres not alot we can do about that.. Other clubs that have come to this situation have given up the go.. We aint going to give in.
The thing about the league getting onto clubs with only one team, I havent heard yet but will be ringing the league tommorrow to confirm this.
I can probably see 3 or 4 out of the GF side that will retire which is fare, they're pretty bloody old. But thats it. I dont know who else you could be pointing..

The bloke would still be pissed as a mute and I can confirm several Modbury players bragging before the end of the game that we are so close but so far, hahaha... Laughing at us like the game was done and dusted when they were up by 3 goals at the last change. Very bad sportsmanship.
They are a good strong football unit, I dont doubt that but I think they would have been better off losing a game previous to the GF because the pressure showed on them.. UP YOU CATS!
