Talks cheap!!! Thats right... Its one thing to talk the talk, but its another thing to walk the talk..

Then you had better walk pretty tall Bubbula with all the talking you have been doing,Have a big one and best of luck to all,If Cooke,Newman,Brotherton and Rinno all get the ball to klompy then id say ovies can pull of a huge upset,Modbury would be odds on after not dropping a game so far they wouldnt want to choke now?

I wonder how it would feel to go through the year undefeated only to lose the GF by 5 points. If anyone from Modbury wants to let me know I'd be grateful.Kym Klomp is the best footballer I have ever played with and for him to kick the winning goal in his last game is about as good as it gets.A fitting way for a legend to end his career.A great player, but more importantly a great bloke, and a great friend.Well done Ovingham and well done Klompy.Time for a few blokes to stand up and admit they were wrong.Lets hear it boys.............

And what was the basis that you thought Ovies would collapse.. We're a team of mates who won a premiership together against an undefeated unit. We no-longer have bad grapes in the bunch... Kilburns 'C' Grade were kicked by none other then there own club for brawling.. So get off our PREMIERSHIP winning backs and concerntrate on your own backyard.. Roger that!!!!

TO ALL THE CRITICS AND DOUBTERS!!!!!

We can thank our committee, we can thank our supporters but I think the biggest thanks is to the drop-kick losers who knew nothing about 'OUR' club and the Savloy jumping drop-kicks who jumped on board of there ban-wagon to try sink the club we call 'OUR OWN!'.... You can break a heart, you can break a hope but you will never break our spirits!!! 'If you have a dream, you got to protect that dream!'

Today, 18 of us played 24 Modbury players(including 2 umpires)! We played for 'OUR' club and 'OUR' brothers but the number 1 driving force behind our win was your criticism and disbelief that a small struggling club can achieve the 'un-achievable'

With that I would like to on behalf of 'OUR' football club thank you!!!

Who's on top!!!!! WE ARE!!!

Well done to the Ovingham FC.
I've never been involved with them, but my Dad & Uncles grew up next to Kane Reserve, & spent their youth playing sport there, & played for Ovingham.
For those reasons above (& living in the suburb for 2 years) I've always taken a small interest in their fortunes, as they are a very small club in a tiny suburb, with a small (but pleasant) ground.

I care not for the politics of the club, or the allegations on this forum, but would like to see Ovingham survive & prosper.

Agree with Plunky.
My kids train & play on the oval on Saturday mornings & we get to see the volunteers setting up shop early to grab a quid out of the parents & kids to help out the club. Nice people. Hope their celebrating their victory long & hard.
