Don't know mate. I've only been there 5 years. He did win the last two premierships with Barrossa though.

Just heard that he's been out in straight sets more times than Anna Kournikova thats all, was just wondering if there was any truth to it that all.

Read something about it in the Barossa paper last year
Had over 70% win Ratio while he coached out there
Took Willaston and Barossa to 3 GFs for 2 wins so i guess stike rate would have been good
Kilburn, at least 4 Finals series and am pretty sure reached prelim twice so thats 50%
Still 3 finals apperances in A1 must rate something
Would have thought his finals win loss in A1, Barossa and this year would be better than most going around
Ask the players what they think of him, thats always a good guide

I know he coached Kilburn in 99 and 2000 and didn't make the Prelim. I thought he only ahd the 2 years there but could be wrong.

Crap Boozehound. I was ten-15 meters from it. I personally saw what happened and if you want to continue with it given your position I am prepared to state what I saw as is Michael Howson's father and family (the young kid you hit late and hurt). Even someone purporting to be your wife tried to excuse your act in the mini stand.

Absolute crap. You can say all you like. Big Shrek was on the bench at the time and saw the whole thing from start to finish as did Polky. You are just a shit stirring tool, who clearly has no idea what happened.

Mate there were camera's there, infact it was right in front of the camera, so that is the definitive proof that you are a clown. Secondly don't go bringing family (eg you mentioned my wife) into this at all. Just shows your level of morals.

Some peple are quick to slag someones ability to coach after an unfortunate loss.
Maybe its got alot to do with O'Connors success throughout his career as a coach & the jealousy some people have with winners mainly because they havn't the foggiest idea on how to coach & havn't had the success he has.
I for one don't judge a coach because he didn't get his side in a grand final, Occa has proven how to rebuild a club from a struggling club to a very competitive club not only currently with Kilburn but also previous sides like Barrossa which he did win flags with.
Occa's ability as a coach to draw players, sponsors, supporters to clubs is incredible really & yes thats always going to draw criticism when it comes to salary cap which is the main topic thats bought up when the name O'Connor is mentioned. I say the harder you work the more results you'll have as a team an individual & a club, that doesn't always mean premierships

I agree. I have many friends that have played under him and that is sometimes a better reference for a good coach than results. He has results and the respect of his players from what I have heard so thats two from two.

Two things to say. The spit was a couple of metres away from Micky. Maybe because of angles it looked different from the grandstand because my missus thought boozehound spat on him too. I was only a few metres away as was Sharkys so I think we can put that to rest.

We can also put the Ocker thing to rest. Seems like there are a few haters on the forum looking to take cheap shots and grasping at straws wherever possible. Seems like his finals record is pretty good and the entire club is united behind him which hasn't happened to a coach in my time there. The unity is due to the fact he is obviously the best person to lead our club back up the divs.

Danny Walton getting a game in the A grade? He'll be pleased as punch at this late stage of his career.
